Do You Ever Feel This Way?

Tonight I feel a little bit defeated. I know that we cannot afford to feel that way, but the reality is that my experience today at the mall in Gwinnett County makes me feel that President Bush's dream is becoming a reality.

At the mall I saw and heard many different things and it led me to believe that people may be coming into our country in even faster numbers than before. I know that Secretary Chertoff claims that the borders are more secure than ever, and perhaps he is right. But could it be that illegal aliens are now coming into our country in massive numbers by plane, ship, car, and the Canadian border?

Is it possible that as we work so hard to fight this problem...... because of the things that President Bush is saying that it is encouraging MORE illegal immigration and that this is exactly what is happening behind our backs?

My experience today tells me that this is true and that this is happening. But I don't know what to do about it. I guess the best thing that I can do is to tell you, other Americans.

Obviously, my senators (Chambliss and Isakson) aren't overly concerned about it. Other than all of you, they are the only people I know to turn to. So now what am I supposed to do?

Legal you are just in a slump. We all go through them, when we see and realize the devastation that is happening with our country. That is why we are fighting tooth and nail to save our country. If we believe we can, we will not stop fighting, if we do not stop fighting, we will turn this around. We are already making a big difference. Hang in there! Don't give up and don't give in, we are united in this. You are not alone!

Don't get discouraged, Legal. You know the old saying, " The bigger they are . . . "

The way I see it, the more who come, the more who will have to leave when we make the grand sweep. We'll just have to get a bigger broom, that's all.

Thank you April and Tiny. I am not giving up. It's just that I'm not sure that many people have come to realize that just as we predicted, that what President Bush is doing is causing a sudden massive increase of people entering. If they're not entering through the southern border in quite the numbers they were, than that means they're flying in or coming in through the Canadian border.

Maybe they're flying over and parachuting down. (half kidding, half not kidding)

He must realize that his refusal to enforce existing laws and pushing for amnesty is causing the situation to turn into an even bigger crisis than it even was before.

Pretty soon the illegals are going to deport us.

Don't joke like that as the possibility is too real.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Oh and thank you, PJR! I'm not giving up, but I have decided I'm ready to sign the impeachment petition. I don't care if some say there is nothing to impeach him on. I still want to sign it just to express how I feel.

It's not your imagination how fast they are coming in here. A major chain department store where I go to all the time has changed just in the last year. Now every ad in the store is in spanish and all the pictures of the people in the ads are also hispanic. Most the shoppers walking around also don't speak english. I feel like I'm in Mexico when I go there. Also my local Subway sandwichs I go to all the time, they used to hire high school and college kids, now the employee's are older hispanic employee's, and I can hardly understand them because they speak with such a heavy accent. I've seen so many changes in such a very short time. Time magazine said a little over a year ago over 4 million were coming here every year, and I believe it!

After going to the Hazleton Rally today, I feel energized. It's what I needed, after hearing our senators lie to us daily about this immigration bill. We all need a break sometimes.

People are coming in in massive numbers from the south, and overstaying visas like crazy. I doubt that airplanes, ships, and the Canadian border are bringing in loads of them, but they sometimes come via those methods.

There's a small section of the border in Texas (like Eagle Pass/Del Rio or something like that) where additional jailspace has been appropriated, and every illegal who enters in that sector winds up doing jail time and paying a fine before being deported. Consequently, illegal traffic in that area is alot lighter than it used to be. The thing is, our ENTIRE border needs to be like that. Either that, or put the military on the southern border, with the training to make arrests (and apprehend the drug and gun smugglers.)

Thanks again LegalUSCitizen for all you do. With all of your posts, you've made one heck of a contribution to this site. For that, I really thank you!

Hi Legal, I posted my own rant in one of the threads about going to the dept. store the other day and I just walked around amazed at all the foreigners, wondering when did this happen and why on earth in America is the white man and the english language the minority all of a sudden????? Everywhere I go lately the majority of the people I see around me have dark skin. And no that is not a "racist" comment, it is just a fact, and an observation that anyone would have. Where are they coming from?
