Head of ICE in South Florida arrested on child porn charges.

Anthony Mangione, the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for South Florida, was arrested Tuesday after child pornography was reportedly found on his home computer .

In April, Mangione was put on paid administrative leave during a federal investigation of four images of child pornography that he allegedly received via an AOL e-mail account, The Miami Herald reported at the time.

Mangione, 50, has led ICE’s regional office since 2007.

The Broward Sheriff's Offfice Website showed he was being held at the main jail in Fort Lauderdale on unspecified charges.

An ICE spokesman in Washington, D.C. could not be reached.

Laura Sweeney, a spokeswoman with the U.S. Dept. of Justice, said she could not comment.

If he had alot more I would definitely call him a perv but not with four. I think it is someone who was angry they or their relative got deported. Alot of those kids in kiddie porn are from other countries and often times their parents have them doing it for the money.

Especially if it was all in one message and nothing else is discovered. Unless there are other things that indicate a history of large file messages with that sender (or other known perps). Everyone knows that this is one of "those" charges that can ruin someone, and there are people that are all too ready to use that as a weapon of retaliation.

I believe that people peddling child porn are going to have a lot more than four pictures. The mans life shouldn't be ruined for this.
