    More on illegal welfare

Ok, I know this is all a "known" thing, but just wanted to write down some of my observations from the health department.

Not a ONE of of these undocumented aliens is married, yet they are all on birth contrtol, and all claim to be Roman Catholic. How is that? I thought Catholics as a rule are to shun premarital sex and all forms of birth control. Maybe someone should alert the Pope.

Now, I know that's not realistic, but honestly, these are women on birth control en masse.

And, in addition to not speaking a lick of English and requiring interpreters at every turn, (I mean, they don't even TRY) they are also functionally illiterate in their native language of spanish. Many, many problems result from this, such as not being able to read the spanish directions on the formula cans (which they get through WIC) which leads to more problems with their kids which leads to spontaneous ER room visits. Also leads to some EXTREME dependence on the health department staff due to extreme ignorance and a lack of education in parenting matters. I mean, how do you deal with an illiterate, practically helpless population like this? It's out of control, and we are footing the bill entirely at the local level, and state as well.

That's all I will say. I just can't believe this is all happening. I have sent lettgers to my state senator about it. It's just an enormous welfare class all over again.

I also blame the government of Mexico for this - in fact, I blame them entirely. It's unbelievable that a nation, in the 20th century, so geographically close to the U.S. would have such a large population of uneducated, illiterate citizens. Mexico failed these people ...and now all of a sudden, it's OUR problem??

Makes me so mad I could SPIT.

jjmm...let's face it. The illegal aliens in this country are not the top echelon of Mexico and Central America. They are the scum...the bottom-feeders...the losers.
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

I think I feel relieved that they're taking birth control pills. Not so many anchor babies.

JJMM-I have a friend who drives a school bus for Fairfax Co. and was stunned when she told me about a year ago that the county buses the spanish speaking students to a special school to educate them first in spanish then in english. What your post basically backs up what she says(about the illiteracy).

I used to work in a school and we used to send home bilingual notes. Many of the spanish speaking parents could not read them. It got to be funny because our interpeter aide who wrote the spanish notes couldn't spell in spanish and according to a hispanic professional type person I knew her grammer was awful too. Of course this interpeter aide who couldn't write properly in english or spanish got a big promotion.

I remember seeing this lady who an Hispanic ESL teacher on the local news here in San Diego awhile back, and she could barely speak English properly. She used terms like 'most better' when describing how well her bilingual students were doing in class. She even said things like "supposably" and other non words I can't even recall right now. This from a teacher who was 'supposably' teaching kids how to speak English.

I remember sitting there and watching this lady, a person who the district put up as a spokesperson to represent the school on the local TV news regarding the successes of their ESL program and she could not even speak basic English. And I'm not talking about person with a heavy Spanish accent, like a new resident to this country or something, but a person who most likely grew up here given how slight her accent was and she was pathetic. No wonder our schools are such failures, they can't even hire teachers who know how to speak decent English.

That seems to be the crux of the situation.

IMO the head of this illegal alien snake is the welfare benefits they receive as well as the fake ID fraud they use to get $ under multiple names. This is the only way they could even survive the cost of living in many areas around the country..

Also, many employers rely on them getting taxpayer funded benefits so they can pay them below market wages as well as EVADE several payroll taxes so in the end Americans are getting over-taxed in order to pay for their own demise in the workplace......if this isn't pure insanity, I don't know what is.

We must develope a strategy to find out which agencies are responsible for not developing a fraud proof welfare system and make them accountable.
