mining, and tourism is attracting more Hispanics to the Western Slope.

Census officials say Colorado is 20.7 percent Hispanic.

2010, 15.1% identify themselves as Mexican.
2000, 10.5% identify themselves as Mexican.


The Hispanic population's growth has been largely concentrated along the Front Range in the past.

The Internal Revenue Service went after Ted Vidimos, Arvada CO for taxes on income he did not earn because his Social Security number was used by an undocumented immigrant- Ted Vidimos owed taxes on about $40,000 the IRS believed he earned at landscaping company because of
the hiring of the man who stole his identity. Vega-Hernandez did not have a valid Social Security number and Urban Farmer fired him.
Vega-Hernandez returned a week later with a driver's license and Social Security number showing he was Ted Vidimos.

I agree 100% with Vidimos. The employer should have been severely punished. If the employer is not punished, they will feel free to keep hiring illegals with false IDs.

It is absolutely amazing that Gang Bangers are allowed to roam the streets of America. America used to take scum like that, and Hang em' High. America, and it's people, truly are... "turned upside down".

It would only cost probably $10.00 to hang these twerps, but Law says, they have rights. Garbage, complete and total garbage.

Colorado needs to pass a voter I.D. law similar to what Wisconsin just did and Texas is attempting to do. It was discovered that possibly 5,000 illegals cast votes in the 2010 Colorado elections. Democratic senator Michael Bennet narrowly defeated Republican Ken Buck. IMHO, this is the way, and the only way, Barack H. Obama will be elected in 2012.

I remember the town of Carbon, Co that had a huge problem with illegal immigration some time ago. Maybe that is in the front range area? I think there is an area where they do Agricultural work there, along with ranch duties. Many Americans don't do the ranch stuff anymore. Wonder why? Because illegals get there 1st!
