OK quote box Lesson
If you just want a part of the article to quote you copy and paste the section you want.
Once that is done you place these brackets and words.
you place [ before the first word type the word "quote" (not quote marks) then close quote with ]
At the end you place a [ write / and quote and then the ]
So it will look like this [ the word quote] the copy and pasted section then [slash and word quote]
The slash mark before the word quote tells the system to stop the quote box.

09-05-2008, 05:52 PM #9First highlight the part you want quoted. When posting how do you get the little white boxes with the quote you want? My age is showing again...
Then click on copy, usually a right click.
Go to reply, hit Quote on top then paste the part that was copied.
Then hit the quote button again.
You can hit preview on the bottom of the message box to make sure it came out correctly. Then Submit.
Wallah!
