Cedillo’s CA Dream Act AB 131!
    Letter to Governor Brown
Why is California pressing to tell the world that if you can get yourself and your kids to California and illegally enter the country this State shall reward you with money for your children to go to college. This would seem like a very tempting offer if I were a head of household living in a third world country. I would defiantly place this as a very good reason to illegally move my family to California. I can only hope that California can come up with the funds to provide a college education for every poor family in the world that can manage to illegally migrate here. Should we also get billboards put up in Latin American, Arab, Asian and African countries to let them know California encourages you and your family to illegally migrate to California because we want to educate your children. Can California afford to educate the world’s kids? This new law shall be a very big magnet for more illegal migration of poor families not able to get here legally. Is this really what California should be doing presently? Is it in the best interest of all California to be rewarding people for an illegal activity? As most family’s today struggle to make it, this freebie to be provided for children of foreigners, just maybe very bad come election time for people who agree with this blatant disregard for legal citizenship.
Please consider the message you are sending to the world with this latest misuse of the tax payer’s money.
We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works
