Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) thinks the entire “IRS culture” is plagued with “systemic” corruption.

He says the only solution is to simply, “start over”!

In an epic take-down, the South Carolina conservative ripped the IRS’ Inspector General to shreds in a video released by The Center for Western Journalism today.

Listen to Gowdy choke back tears as he condemns the IRS for wasting millions of dollars entertaining its leaders at a single co... while other federal employees were being furloughed due to budget cuts in 2010!

Hear the emotion in his voice as he talks about his furloughed secretary – a single mom who asked to borrow money from Mr. Gowdy to buy her young child a birthday present!

Because of the furlough, this single mom wasn’t able to pay her bills or get her child a toy in the same month. Meanwhile, IRS agents squandered the tax dollars that could have paid her meager salary on sheer frivolity.

And now for something completely different – here’s an Illinois Democrat you can respect even if you disagree with her politics!
Tammy Duckworth is a disabled IL National Guard officer and U.S. Congresswoman. She exposed a phony veteran for faking a military injury to get a lucrative government contract!

Meet Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL). Lt. Col. Duckworth is a former Army Blackhawk pilot, who lost both legs when a rocket propelled grenade hit her helicopter in Iraq.

Her right hand was also blown off, but was later reattached.

During a recent Congressional hearing, she met a former IRS contractor, Braulio Castillo, who claimed he was a disabled veteran even though he was never in the military!

Castillo claimed he was injured on active duty – this, in order to make his company, Strong Castle Inc., more marketable.

Of course, a Veteran’s Affairs Disability Certification also makes his firm more competitive against small businesses run by actual disabled vets trying to earn government contracts!

The truth is Castillo was injured over two decades ago playing football at a military prep high school!
