High School Students Stage Walk Out to Protest Immigration Law

MABLETON, Ga. - About 100 students walked out of class at a suburban Atlanta high school to protest a new Georgia university system policy that effectively bars illegal immigrant students from the five most competitive state colleges and universities.
The students at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton also protested a new law cracking down on illegal immigration that the governor signed last week.
Dulce Guerrero, a senior who was brought to the U.S. illegally when she was 2, said she wanted to raise awareness of the plight of illegal immigrants who were brought to this country as young children.
It wasn't immediately clear if the students would face any penalty for walking out of class. A woman who answered the phone at the school said the administration had no comment.

GOOD!! During that time American students in those classes can concentrate on education without Spanish speaking anchors holding up the class!! They can KEEP walking! All the way to the border if they want respect!<div>"Diversified"*does NOT*mean invading*our Country and forcing their culture and language,**stealing jobs,*using fake ID',s, living on government benefits, and flying their flag over ours! </div>
