History of birth in the US constituting US citizenship?
I don't know the legal origins that initiated that being born in the US permits one to automatic citizenship.
When did this law take effect? What was the climate that made this law necessary? Are there any exclusions to this law?
(Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'm just trying to get eductated to both sides of the issues before I can form my own opinion on this.)Knowledge is true opinion. Plato
