    House Judiciary Subcommittee to Consider Immigration Reform

    On Thursday, theHouse Judiciary Immigration Subcommitteewill hold a hearing on H.R. 750, the Save America Comprehensive Immigration Act of 2007, sponsored by Representative Sheila Jackson Lee. The bill creates a path for some illegal aliens to attain status as legal permanent residents. Under this legislation, illegal immigrants would have to take an English class and perform 40 hours of community service, provided that they are non-criminals.

    I wish they were as persistent and determined to in force the rule of law as they are at trying to handout amnesty. They have no shame.
