Obama has threatened to veto the House bill, and Democrats roundly denounced it, even as immigrant advocates warned Republicans they risked alienating Latino voters who will be crucial to the 2016 presidential election.

"Just two weeks into this new Congress, Republicans have turned a bipartisan issue, funding our Department of Homeland Security, into a cesspool of despicable amendments that cater to the most extremist anti-immigrant fringe," Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., said in a House debate.
Were Latino voters not crucial to the 2014 elections? It seems that worked out quite well for the "extremist anti-immigrant fringe."

Everyone needs to remember that this isn't an issue about voters. The majority of voters including Hispanic/Latino and other Minority groups have no affinity at all for this massive immigration, not the legal kind and most certainly not the illegal kind. American voters are sick and tired of the deceit, the lies, the special attention, the cost, and the aggravation and daily expense associated with dealing with this illegal alien population and yes even much of this extraordinarily excessive legal immigrant population. This issue is about donors, not voters. These crazy Democrats are collecting billions a year for campaigns not from voters, but donors, many of them probably in the country illegally or in the country on a visa or green card or in the country from a previous amnesty and of course and it must be said money from the drug cartels who need a large alien population devoted to their drug business as well as a steady stream of carriers hauling the drugs in and the money out.
