Does scripture really support "comprehensive" immigration reform?
Religous leaders across Texas (like the ones listed in the 1/30/10 HC article below) are demanding "comprehensive" immigration reform and using scripture & the pulpit to push their agendas to provide millions of third world immigrants amnesty (though they refer to it as a "path to citizenship").
Dr. Stephen Steinlight offers (for your contemplation) additional insight to the interpretation of our religious text on the most vital issue facing Texas and our nation.

Immigration reform is a pressing issue of morality
Jan. 30, 2010, 4:18PM
On Jan. 11, more than 300 clergy from dozens of religious denominations came from the far reaches of the Houston region in support of a critical moral issue, humane immigration reform.
The local heads of several major religious denominations, including Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, Catholic archbishop of Galveston-Houston; Bishop Janice Riggle Huie of the Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church; the Rt. Rev. C. Andrew Doyle, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas; Bishop Michael Rinehart of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America; Rabbi David Rosen of Congregation Beth Yeshurun; the Rev. Mike Cole of the Presbytery of New Covenant; and the Rev. Harvey Clemons Jr. of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, along with The Metropolitan Organization, released a Houston Interfaith Statement on Humane Immigration Reform and launched a campaign for reform this year.
All our faith traditions share a fundamental belief that human beings are made in the image and likeness of God and that we must treat every person with dignity, for “the strangers who sojourn with you shall be to you as the natives among you, and you shall love them as yourselfâ€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

And in the past, scripture was used to justify slavery and discrimination against black Americans.

This is the brick city of the Vatican Wall that keeps people out
Vatican City is surrounded by a fortress which, over the years, protected the pope from his enemies. A tunnel connects Vatican City to Castel Saint'Angelo and was used as an escape route during turbulent times.
For these nuts and those Catholic Biships that are pushing for Amnesty... the Illegal Aliens can be just as good Catholics in their home Nation
The Swiss Guards are a small force responsible for the security of the Vatican city with various task including guarding the entrances to the Vatican as well as ensuring the personal safety of the Pope. Today being a Swiss guard at the Vatican city is largely a ceremonial role; However the history of the Swiss guards corps is a long one involving many real military campaigns. They are ARMED to the TEETH and yet they want America to open up our borders
How's that fence working around the White house .. seems to keep intruders out of there pretty damn good

These are Progressives who use the church to push their political agenda!
Unless GOD shows up and personally and tells me he is for illegal immigration give them the hand, in any fashion you feel appropriate.
