Thread: How can this be happening in my America?

Many a time I put to pen (MS Word) my views, thoughts or feels of the time, as a way to vent. For outside of a couple of friends and the people here on ALIPAC I really have no one I can relate to. I usually just delete the file after I am relatively vented and feeling better. Well I wrote this today, and feel the need to share it. Please permit me to do so:

How can this be happening in my America?

Maybe it’s because I am here in Illinois, and I have had to watch Obama’s entire political career (for a lack of better words) that I see more then just an empty suit, more then empty rhetoric, more then false promises that are impossible to keep, more then what the liberal media is allowing to be exposed, but rather I see the dangers that are being hidden from the rest of the country. Dangers, that even the “Kool-Aidâ€

I would hope it is not going to be as bad as you have pointed out should Nobama win. However I truely fear you may not have went far enough.

I fear that IF Nobama wins, a dark cloud will descend over America blotting out the sun for four years. The dark cloud will be explained as proof of global climate change, and that mankind, especially Americans will have to repent and slash their wrists upon the alter of left-wing liberalism. Americans will have to purchase oxygen credits if they choose to participate in sports as they will be exhailing excessive amounts of carbon dioxide. Pet sheep will replace the lawn mower with that nasty combustible engine, a new status symbol of enlightened men and women.

Both guns and sling-shots will be banned, as the elite fear an armed populace. Beings Americans do not like to do agricultural work they will not even have the benefit of pitch forks and shovels to use as weapons. Tea parties will be supressed to Victorian garden areas only. The "X" in the alphabet will be removed due to fear that it represents the cross-hairs on a sniper's scope. Camouflage clothing will be outlawed because it is too militarilistic looking and it will be replaced with khakis which all good looking comrades should sport.

The common yard bird, the chicken will be elevated to the status of national bird, the symbol of enlightened beings. This will stop the senseless slaughter of millions of these birds. De-beaking will be a thing of the past. Bar-B-Que sauce will be replaced with soy sauce the choice of real men. Collars and leashes will not be tolerated for household pets as they represent repressive symbols, left overs of cave men. The word beastiality will be replaced with pet friendly, then dogs, sheep, and cattle will be eligible to be viewed as life partners thereby vindicating same sex marriages into a new and meaningful light. Eternal bliss will have been achieved.

Free and open speech will be tolerated as long as such free speech acknowledges and promotes political correctness as the foundation of all proper discourse. The word conservitive and all of its ideals will be viewed as profanity and not tolerated in the civil spectrum. Flag burning parties will replace 4th of July parties. Nose rings and facial piercings will become the preferred method of determining one's IQ, each piercing representing one point. Toe and thumb rings will also be counted as one point, afterall the face is limited regarding space available and the realization of points needed to enter college.

Yes, I admit that I have been a tad sarcastic, I also acknowledge that left wing liberalism brings out the monster in me. However am I that far off base? Must I chain myself to sarcasm when all that I attempt to predict for the future is possible scenarios of a truely enlightened and liberal world? O chains that bind my mind leave me so that I too can come to see the light, lighten my mind and allow me to see the error of my ways, help me to become a good communistic soldier. A just comrade.

As you pointed out, things can, and most likely will, get even worst.
Below is predictions I made sometime last week, and I don’t remember if I posted it anywhere or if I was just venting again.

Obama is down right dangerous for the WORLD!

Obama must not win, for I speculate that Israel will attack Iran after Election Day (Nov 4, next week) and/or before January when Obama would take office. Israel feels Bush would commit troops and aid, whereas Obama would not. So they’ll have to act fast to get commented US Support. It doesn’t matter how you feel about Israel, it’s more important to stop more war and SAVE OUR TROOPS.

And, if I am right and there is war between Israel and Iran (which I pray I’m wrong), I truly believe that every American who voted for Obama will have blood in their hands, and should carry a heavy guilt (especially the Jewish voter). It will not be only Israeli and Iranian lives lost but numerous American lives will be lost as well.

These bloody hands also go for the protest “stay at home non-voterâ€

Mad, I fear that most of what you say is correct. "Loss of Freedom is Only One Vote Away". Ask anyone who survived Hitlers Germany or any other of the countless countries throughout history where the "Pied Piper" led them to their destiny. Among people in this country who are closely watching this unfolding election, the fear is palpable. I don't think this fear would so aggresively exist if the balance of power in our government weren't about to tip so far to the left. Has anyone noticed that gun sales in the U.S. are increasing exponentially? I'll leave the reasons as to why to your own imagination. If BO becomes President I have no doubt that Bidens warning ..."This President will be tested within the first six months"... will come true. The question is, what will that test be and what will the response be?

I keep hoping that maybe I am just letting myself become too wrapped up in this election and that a President Obama wouldn't be as bad as I am making it out to be. However, my gut instincts are screaming that something is wrong. Perhaps my instincts will fail me...at least this one time.

You are lucky; you’re from Texas and you have not seen this man’s dangerous rise in power. So that knot may not be as tight in your gut, as it is in mine.

I made another prediction back in 2003 at gather.com (before I know about ALIPAC). I started "lambasting" all the talk of an Obama presidency back then. Long before he announced his run here.

Most of them are probably Libs. I've heard it said more than once that liberlism is a sickness of the mind.
