Is your state next on the list to house illegal aliens? Fax your Members of Congress and tell them no!

Friends,

Across the country, citizens and their elected officials are pushing back against plans to house newly-arrived illegal aliens from the ongoing border surge in their communities. Resistance has already caused plans in Virginia, Illinois, and Maryland to be halted. More details are below the red action box.

The feds are scrounging around the country for vacant buildings, moving so fast and carelessly at times that, according to The Blaze, they've even considered buildings that are still in use!

As promised, we've posted a new fax on your Action Board that urges your Members of Congress to be aware of any plans to house illegal aliens in your community. Tell your elected officials that you're opposed to this and moving the most recent arrivals further from the border will only extend the time before their removal - and that's only if they're ever removed.

Tell Congress 'Not in my State!
'

Join the thousands of citizens and elected officials from Virginia, Illinois, and Maryland who have already prevented the housing of illegal aliens in their states. Over 1,000 angry residents filled a local high school in Lawrenceville, Virginia, fighting plans to house illegal aliens in a former college. The feds planned to use St. Paul's College, a historically black college that shut down 5 years ago.
The people here don't want to ask you any questions. We really don't want to hear your selling points. ... Let me say this to you as I look square in your eyes. We do not want you here.

--Lawrenceville, Va. resident Arron Smith
Rep. Robert Hurt also contacted Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell demanding the project be stopped. As a result, the St. Paul's plan as been suspended indefinitely.
A similar plot to house illegal aliens was slatted for a quiet Chicago suburb. The feds were eyeing an abandoned monastery in Olympia Fields, Ill., but Rep. Randy Hultgren sent a stern warning to government officials.
We should immediately halt this effort. It is an ill-conceived stop gap solution that will only exacerbate the terrible situation for these children. Moving these children further away from the border unnecessarily elongates their legal limbo at orphanage-style federal facilities while they undergo removal proceedings.
U.S. Senators Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin also fought plans to utilize an old warehouse in Baltimore to house illegal aliens.
As the feds face resistance in Maryland, Illinois, and Virginia, they're scrambling in their search for other locations. They were all set to move illegal aliens to a hotel in New York before they realized it was still open for business!
Is your state next? Tell your Members of Congress you don't want illegal aliens housed in your state and warn them to be on the lookout for any secret plans by the feds to do so.
Thanks!
