ST. JOAN vs. ENGLISH; WE vs. ILLEGALS; principle the SAME!
A few weeks ago, I wrote, in Portuguese, on the bathroom wall of the ladies' room of my Catholic church, the following:
"A patriota francesa Santa Joana dArc disse aos invasores ingleses: "NAO tem os ingleses NENHUM direito de estar no reino da Franca. Por ordem do Rei do Ceu, voces VOLTAM ao SEU PROPRIO pais!"
"Tambem, os estrangeiros ilegais NAO tem NENHUM direito de estar nos ESTADOS UNIDOS da AMERICA. Por ordem do Rei do Ceu, voces VOLTAM aos SEUS PROPRIOS paises!"
"The French patriot St. Joan of Arc told the English invaders, "The English have NO right to be in the kingdom of France. By order of the King of Heaven, you are to RETURN to YOUR OWN country!"
"Likewise, illegal aliens have NO right to be in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. By order of the King of Heaven, you are to RETURN to YOUR OWN countries!"

Nice thought, but how well do Hispanics understand Portugese? I was playing some Brazilian Bossa Nova once, and got some quizzical looks from some Mexicans. I know that it is another Latin derived language and looks quite like Spanish...
I think we need some Catholic insiders to help stop this madness. Unlimited immigration is being pushed by a coalition comprised of:
1. Labor unions
2. Liberal politicians
3. Big business
4. Lawyers
5. Religious groups which detest or disparage the European peoples.
The major problem is that many people have become convinced that it is their moral duty to give aid and assistance to impoverisihed people who migrate TO the United States, even if they do it without governmental permission. But the overlooked story is that Americans are already fulfilling a moral imperative in giving FROM their generous hearts to these same people, but doing so only within their hiome countries. The latter breaks no law. The first option does violate the careful balance that the US Congress has already achieved and passed into law. We are not to give assistance to an illegal alien, even if our personal beliefs dictate it.
When Congress passed that law it did not have time to devise any approved list of what countries' emigrants we could help. So it simply joined them all together. Helping an illegal immigrant from any country, because of one's personal convictions, is illegal."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

Help fight illegal immigartion by turning off the jobs magnet. Ask yr congressmsn to co-sponsor the SAVE Act - H.R. 4088. It provides money for border security and forces all employers to verify every social security number

It's kinda funny that the Normans (basically, the French) invaded England and took over in 1066. Google William the Conquerer.

joazinha,
Well, the Catholics made a hell of a mess in France.
They were self-righteous, indignant, greedy, with a sense of entitlement and all the time justifying their behavior with religion. A kin to misused verse in Leviticus. In the process of their invasion and ignorance, they persecuted, violated and murdered a saint. They called her unjust names, which are as foul as unchristian, biggot and racist. Today, the Catholics are making the identical mistake in America and once again, they are not hearing the message. No, it's a damn mistake. "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house...nor anything that is thy neighbor's." Fools don't learn from history, they repeat it.
It was about greed in the 15th Century and that is exactly what it is about today. They should remember the error of their ways.
No time for soul saving, when you are meddling in worldly politics. I remind you about the Pharisees and Sadducees (religious sects of Israel), standing behind their beliefs, while conferring and persuading the Roman government to do their bidding against Christ.
