How to pay for the Mexican border wall

Pay for the wall by taxing the $20 billion the illegals are sending back to Mexico in wire transfers. This is a good idea. This should be done at the national level!

According to the Phoenix Business Journal February 8, 2006 edition,
"Mexican immigrants and nationals working in the U.S. sent $20 billion back to Mexico in 2005, according to the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas. The proposed ballot question would assess a new 8 percent tax on international money transfers from Arizona. Those funds would be used construct the wall and pay for other border security efforts."

I don't think 8% is enough though. It should at least be 10%.

I think this idea will work but only if we name this tax "the national security tax" and instead of it being 8% it would be 5%

And by the way I think there IS a "national security tax" already, isn't it??

I hope you get the point.
