I don't think anybody here likes the fact that so many
    candidates are CFR
But I don't think theres much we can do about it , I don't think
you'll get an argument from anybody that its not a good thing but
If you have an answer to one not getting elected please share it with us.

It seems we are surrounded by them.

By the time the voting gets to Nevada I probably won't have a
    choice

Like I told you in other threads , I'm not unreasonable and when we get our chance here I'll add up all the info and go from there

Who knows , right now the caucus's are to close to call ,

As I've stated my top 3 choices now that Tancredo is gone

    Hunter
    Paul
    Romney

    in that order ,
But I'm also going to factor in electability, and who can beat the Dem
Even CFR repub is better than any of the dems , thats JMO

At least all the repubs are talking tough on illegals , none of the Dems are even talking about illegals

The CFR is quite secretive on who it's entire list of members are. In their 2007 Annual Report, they only list generalities and not specific membership. See below:

    Profile of the Membership (2007)

Number of Members – Percentage of Members

    Location
    New York Area: 1,426 - 33
    Washington, DC, Area: 1,309 - 30
    National/International: 1,595 - 37
    Total: 4,330 - 100

    Profession
    Business: 1,385 - 32
    Professors, Fellows,
    and Researchers 777 - 18
    Nonprofit: 643 - 15
    Government Officials: 486 - 11
    Lawyers: 292 - 7
    University and College
    Administrators: 268 - 6
    Correspondents, Journalists,
    and Editors: 258 - 6
    Other 221: - 5
    Total: 4,330 - 100

Sorry, but I gotta disagree with you about "repubs are talking tough on illegals"......

I have not heard one "R" talk about what to do with the 38M already here...only that they believe in enforcing the border. Guiliana wants to get rid of 1M criminal illegals, but never said anything about the rest of them; McCain...well we all know where he stands; and Romney wants a path to citizenship; and Huckabee, well..."they are all God's children"!

I am only interested in what they plan to do with ALL of them. It's so easy for them to say they want border enforcement and employer sanctions, but we know what happened to the Secure Border Act and we know they will NEVER get an E-Verify system....but then maybe I'm just a cynical skeptic. I just don't trust one of them on immigration. I would just love to hear ONE of them say....we are going to start deportation proceedings and enforce the existing laws!
