We put up with this classless buffoon for years. Any attempt on the part of legislators to temper his Hispandering was met with self-righteous indignation and public criticism. He's a lost cause.

This is exactly what I felt after seeing him on Wed. nights debate...
Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

It's great he's such a "nice guy", but if he can't get mad at the situation we are facing then he's too nice to be the President of the United States.

If you noticed during the debate last night, he evaded the question about having labeled immigration-control activists "racists". He was very insulting to the concerned citizens of Arkansas during his tenure as governor. He derided legislators who attempted to thwart him in getting pro-illegal legislation passed. Many of these attacks occurred through the media. Arkansans will not forget this. There are still unanswered questions re: the Mexican consulate that opened in Little Rock this year(which he fought very hard for).
Huckabee can be a very quick-witted, sincere-sounding guy, and he's quite adept at engaging others with his cracker-barrel philosophy. To be fair, he probably does operate, at least partially, out of some deep-seated spiritual conviction, but this is irrelevant. He opposes most restrictions on immigration to the US, and he made his stance very plain while governor of Arkansas. There's no reason to believe he has wavered.

I was so mad when Huckabee answered an illegal immigration that had to do with people acting "racist" that were against it. Huckabee sounded like a preacher with the attitude of let them all come on in. HE LOST RIGHT THEN AND THERE.
RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends
