I think I will thank them and sign Vicente Fox.

I clobbered them about our citizens on the border living in a state of teror thanks to the Mexicans. I enjoyed every second of it.

February has come and gone. Did anything get done? No.

And here's what I think of his new legislation about tunnels:

The new “Tunnel” legislation would:

Criminalize tunnel construction and financing of tunnels
Punish those who negligently permit others to construct a tunnel
Any person who uses a tunnel to smuggle weapons, drugs, terrorists, illegal aliens and/or illegal goods will have their sentence doubled if convicted
In addition to imprisonment, assets of person involved in offense may be subject to forfeiture if convicted

I hope you are kidding me! We have laws on the books already that we don't enforce. Why waste the time arguing over this?

Furthermore, we have the technology to find the tunnels and we darn sure have the capability to fill them in or blow them up. Why don't we try it? Don't you think that the people building and financing the tunnels will get the hint? It makes more sense to me than it does to pay legislators to argue over things that they have no intention of passing anyway
