Thread: I have a question...

Okay, here's my question:

Let's say we buy the rhetoric that the illegals are here doing the "jobs Americans won't do". And let's say that we buy the whole idea of America desperately needing immigrants to fill huge gaps in low-skilled labor needs in the U.S.

Okay....let's just say, for a minute, that we buy all this nonsense. Well, WHY then, does the U.S. have to import all these so-called "desperately needed" low-skilled workers primarily from Mexico and Central America? I mean, isn't that a bit unfair and totally biased? Maybe even a bit racist?

Aren't there millions and millions of desperately poor people in Africa, Asia, India, China, etc..who would kill for the opportunity to come to the U.S. to work, have their children, receive free medical care, reduced cost housing, free food, free education, etc? WHY is it fair to only let these people in from Mexico and Central America?

If the eventual amnesty bill that passes allows for more immigration to the U.S. will they make it fair and let people from other countries come here by the droves as well? WHY MEXICO SPECIFICALLY?

I'm very serious about this question. Any insight or wisdom would be much appreciated.

I feel the same way, Americangirl, but I know that Pinestrawguys has just given us our answer.

The PLAN is for mexico to dump 2/3 of their population into the USA.
That leaves the massive land and amazing resources to the CONGLOMERATES for exploitation.

If one looks at the results to date of NAFTA, you will find that BIG AG has already begun to suck up the peasant farmer's land and turn it into mega farming.

Add to the mix the NASCO SUPER HIGHWAY and you will begin to see the picture unfold of the 'landmass' as one entity with the CONGLOMERATES controlling ALL trade & resources.

mexico is rich in many resources that far surpass other nations in the region.

I'm surprised there hasn't been some sort of backlash from other countries. Do you think that could happen at some point?

Betsy, I see it going further than that. The middle class would die, and we would have the same type of country mexico currently has. We would have the rich elites controlling everything, and being ruled by a parlimentary form of government. Pretty soon, the power at be will want to merge the two big "unions" into one huge one; hence a one world government.

Unfortunately, while our government leaves our borders open for the entry of Mexicans, terrorists have been given an easy entry as well. Corporate America and corrupt politicians are lining their pockets from the cheap labor. They appear to be oblivious to the threat we are under from nations who truly hate us. Our enemies have enough suicide bombers who are more than willing to blow themselves up to kill Americans. Apparently, they learned nothing from 9/11.

They have been blinded by greed, and that greed will lead to the destruction of this country. God help us!
