There was a story in the Chicago tribune the other day about a guy that fell into Lake Michigan and drowned. The story (online) showed a picture of a man fishing along the chicago lakefront with the sun setting behind him. They gave his name as Carlos (something) and said that

HE IS VISITING CHICAGO FROM MEXICO

I'm absolutely positive that every liberal reader took this at face value and regard every illegal mexican as 'visitors' to their country/state/city. Un-(friggin) believable !! Is it just me or does every liberal have the IQ of an Anna Nicole Smith or PAris Hilton????

I think that is an excellent way to look at it. As far as I'm concerned they're visting. My intention is to put every illegal foreign national in his homeland.

I believe it's not necessarily a liberal versus a conservative outlook...it's the American "APATHY". Many Americans absolutely REFUSE to look below the surface..it's a very SAD situation we are facing in the United States today.

So I guess the new catch phrase will be, "immigrants visiting from mexico on a no return basis..."

I have been telling you folks, Chicago and Cook County are sanctuaries. This is the BS we have to put up with all the time. If don’t live in a sanctuary area then you really don’t know just how bold some of these people can get.

I believe it actually contributes to the crime level from the illegal aliens. Most of the time when an illegal gets stopped, the illegal is just let go. It’s too hard filing a police report and maintaining sanctuary at the same time without papers from the illegal. And they (the illegal aliens) know that and use these shortcomings of our police departments to their favor.

Actually you can’t blame the individual officer. It’s hard following orders when the orders given to follow goes against everything they where taught. I know a couple of Chicago Police officers, and I have outright asked some Cook Country Sheriffs Police what they think of the sanctuary status. Not one of them likes it, and feels it ties their hands, but to keep their job (remember this is Chicago) they go along with the BS.

I can wait for the 2008 elections; a couple of the Republicans running said they would federally enforce a NO sanctuary status on the cites that have it. (Hopefully one of them wins just to get that!)

He must be one of those "TRUSTED TRAVELERS" that will be getting special treatment due to the "Western Hemisphere Initiative" according to Homeland Security.

By the way; this wasn’t about a guy that fell into Lake Michigan and drowned. This guy was pushed and they have someone locked up for murder.

No! The bad is not an illegal (this time), but the Illegal is just fishing at that spot.
