Immigration front: Fencing shenanigans

To quote Will Rogers, “With Congress, every time they make a joke it’s a law, and every time they make a law it’s a joke.â€

If a border fence is going to be built only HALF-way, it would be BETTER NOT to build one AT ALL!

Oh, I don't feel so alone now - at least someone else is suggesting a look see at the fence.

When we realize this fence was voted in by a congress who has protected and encouraged illegal immigration for 30 years and is going to be built by an administration that has worked even harder for the illegals and Mexico - how can we think it is going to be a real fence?

Without interior enforcment, even a good fence will do little good. We will still be flooded with 30M+, producing anchor babies on an hourly basis, breaking our welfare, healthcare, edcuation system.

A border fence not only is protection from illegal immigration entry, it would put a huge dent into the smuggling of illegal drugs and weapons into the US.

Am beginning to wonder if the government wants us to be a nation of drug addicts.

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion." Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution.

Do you trust the ones who voted this in and this administration to build a fence that would work?

Remember, they granted amnesty, may give millions to a drug dealer to lie on the stand and put two BP agents, just trying to do their job, in prison.

If this were called 'President Bush's fence' how much faith would you have in it? Because right now, that's what it is.

Am beginning to wonder if the government wants us to be a nation of drug addicts.


I haven't wondered about that for a very long time.
