Thread: My funding to PBS is over!

Take a look at PBS today.

Though haven't caught it before, I'll be ever watchful.

PBS is now showing entire shows in spanish only, inside America where the language of most of those who donate to PBS speak English only.

Anyone know how to impact PBS with the message that inside America, English is the primary language?

And that, with very few exceptions, the illegal aliens they are pandering to also speak English very fluently.

Spanish language only shows have been running on PBS for some time. You can stop your individual contributions, but taxpayers will continue the funding. Write your congress persons.

PBS has as long as i can remember a liberal-socialist production,uh...seasame street? i like some of the programing, like frontline. every so often they have a "beg-athon"to raise $$$, its what keeps them on the air. most basic cable is in mexican too, so just turn the channel.

What I really object to is PBS funds several shows,in english,devoted to ONLY Hispanics. They have Hispanic Business,Hispanic View etc.

Can you immagine the outraged Hispanics if any other ethnic/race group had Exclusive shows on TV like a show for Wasps,Aryans,Blacks Business etc. ?

I too have quit donating to them and have told them why.

What shows are that? I watch PBS regularly since I dropped cable, and have not seen one TV show in Spanish. The only Spanish show I remember was when I was a kid in the 70's, and I live in illegal heavy DFW. If the TV goes on at all, it's PBS so I can watch NOVA etc.

Dallas? Ch 13.2 ... There are days that they have hours of Hispano-centric programming.

There are those that have argued with me on this that PBS has a lot of British programming, too. My response is that the content and intent of the two ends are completely different; the British programming is entertainment programming, the Hispanic programming is business, law, etc...

I have a tendency to go to the website and let them know when I have changed channels due to this. I am a rather squeaky wheel about it.

I tried to find what show it was, but I had no way to check, even at the end of the show.

It was in spanish, so I didn't understand what they were saying.

The content about how "oh whow is me" type shows about hispanics are getting to be out of line now, and thankfully more and more patriotic Americans are standing up and saying "no more - you've taken too much of America already - even those within the USA government who are not running for office and trying to gain votes, which is a welcomed voice.

There is one guy, who is black, who does a face to face type interview show, who has literally said on his show "something like" that whites are out to kill all blacks. THAT is outrageous and he should be kicked off the air.

About british show, they "are" entertainment type shows with a plot and a storyline - i.e.; not political, or trying to show how their race is being surprised by the big bad white people of the world and America.

Enough is enough.

God Himself will not consider the race of the one before Him, so those who think they've gained ANYTHING by force feeding their targets with their race, then they will be sadly and quite overwhelmingly shocked to see that they will be held accountable as an INDIVIDUAL who has plagued their environment with their race to bully other races - and specifically the white race.

These race based racists need to grow up and realize that if they don't heed the call to maturity that life will fall apart around them eventually, and if it doesn't then their lessons will be harder learned when they pass away and stand before God Himself and Jesus.

Bottom line is these fools are selling their souls for a race that there may be a good chance they won't even take with them to the other side.

There's no guarantee there will be people of all colors on the other side of the veil where God is.

Here in FL. PBS 30-2 has a string of Hispanic talk/business shows but they are in English.

I watched one recently to see what they are about and it was an interview with a American woman of Cambodian Descent.

The interviewer repeatedly tried to get the Asian woman to denounce white people as being racists.In the end the Asian woman said yes when she was young in the late 60's she felt out of place in the USA because she was part of a small minority in the small town she lived in. But she said we are all in this together and would not agree whites are mostly biased nor racists.

I didn't know we even had a 13.2!! I need to re-program my DTV converter. Did you know that KERA was the very first TV channel to show Monty Python in America?

EDIT: For some reason, 13.2 doesn't exist even though I get every other channel available. They must have a really low signal. I would like to know WHO pays for the spanish programming on 13.2? Do they take MY donations for things like British comedy, Dr Who, Nova etc and use it for programming for non-assimilated people?

I was watching Charlie Rose the other night and they were talking about illegal immigration. The guest against illegals completely dominated all talking points, and showed how wrong, from a logical point of view, illegal immigration is. This is why I donate.

Bottom line is that every person who invokes their minority rights is not willing to assimilate to "be American". Rather, they are seeking to be elevated as superior in the name of their so called minority that America's government will recognize them as inferior enough to be deemed superior enough to have American tax dollars thrown at them because the USA government has bought into the minority lie that these meek poor innocent people have got to be taken care of at the expense of whites.

Many believe that:
American tax dollars = money from rich whites.

Not true in the least.

Whites have to be villeinized so that their so called minority race can be elevated and paid off with USA tax dollars.
