IL: Dist. 59 'pandering' to Spanish speakers
Dist. 59 'pandering' to Spanish speakers

I have lived in this area for over 27 years and have diligently paid my taxes of which a majority go to School District 59.
I am livid that now this mediocre district is going to build a special school for Spanish-speaking children.
This just adds to frustration of a district that employs an excessive number of overpaid administrators who excel in wasting tax dollars not only on this farce of pandering to the illegals (again, what part of that word don't these "educated" people understand?), and a board of education that is that is useless.
Just maybe I should sell my home to a "family" of 20 Spanish-speaking illegals who end up foreclosing on the property ... now that would be quite an appropriate representation of a community that is being sold out by School District 59, wouldn't it?

Great response. Just curious, does School District 59 fall within the 4th Congressional District of Illinois? Des Plaines falls within Cook County and parts of Cook County fall within the 4th. There's so much gerrymandering in that district that's it's imposssible to know.
