IMHO, ICE needs to use a little more intelligence in dealing with the illegal immigrants residing in this country. They're constantly sending individual illegals home, while leaving the rest of the family here. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Sending an individual family member home does little to end the problem. The tie to the United States must be severed because the individual will find a way to return to the family core. I would suggest that ICE make it a point to deport the entire family, not just one family member. For example, when a father is picked up through raid, checkpoint, etc. - question him or her and find out if they are living with other family members. If they answer yes, give them the option of having their family accompany them on their trip home. If they agree, give the family 30 days to take care of personal business and then deport them all. Of course the one orginally arrested would need to remain in custody for the 30 days. I believe most would agree to those terms. Right now it appears as if ICE is immediately deporting only the individual that is picked up - completely ignoring his or her family. We're smart enough to know the deported individual will make his way back to his family post haste, why can't ICE understand that? The Swift situation is a perfect example of this. Many family members are being left behind while the working member is being deported. What sense does this make? The family is going to become a huge burden without the primary bread winner. ICE needs to do a better job of rounding up the entire family, not just one member, which in most cases seems to be the father.

DEPORT THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

Okay, I' through venting my frustration.
