IL:ICE comes to arrest IA's after gas station attend. calls?
Here is a lead to chase down. Several discussion boards are saying that ICE came and arrested 19 illegal aliens after a gas station called to report them. This is the first I've heard of something like this. This is what they are saying;
19 adults (14 men and 5 women) and 5 children detained in Mattoon,
Illinois.
Today at about 4:30a.m. a group of migrant workers in route to
Pontiac, Illinois from Florida stopped to fill up on gas. Moments
later the police arrived and asked everyone for identification. Later
it was discovered that the gas station attendant called and reported
that "illegals" where at the gas station.
All the migrants and their children were arrested. After more than 7
hours the families with children were released, however they have a
court date on Monday. Eleven workers still remain in detention.
Many details are still unclear and as soon as more information is
available it’ll be posted here.
If there is anyone near the Springfield area that can help in anyway
please let me know.
