I Guess Everybody Wants a Piece of the Pie

Euope has their problems with people flooding in from India, Africa and the Middle-East, the U.S. has its problems with people flooding in Mexico and Central America. Guess that a thriving, successful nation can't be left alone. All the other loser nations want a piece of the American pie.

The question is...is our government going to hand it to them on a silver platter?
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

Not only are the Mexicans and Central Americans coming here illegally in large numbers but now the Dominicans are flooding Puerto Rico which is also a poorer island. Haitians try coming into South Florida by boat but are the unfortunate ones as they always get sent back but yet they have a lot of political problems including corruption in their country.

Funny how they send the Haitians back, but not the illegals from south of the border. How do you have a hold on sending one group of illegals back, but not the others?

Because Haitians are Black people and many White Americans still have lots of unresolved issues accepting Black Americans, so the last thing they want are over whelming numbers of Haitians

Because of corporate greed, Hispanics have always been welcomed as migrant/illegal workers in the US. Because we share a border with Mexico, other than those in the border states most remained uninformed, unaffected and unaware of the sheer numbers quietly coming into this country illegally. Although Clinton, Bush the top 1% (and others profitting from this invasion) were fully aware that we were being overrun by illegals, it was not until the marches occurred did middle and working class America realize that millions had quietly invaded this nation.

Preaching to the choir is correct about some Americans having issues with blacks. Myself being white and around both Haitians and Hispanics I can honestly say that I prefer the Haitians as they learn to speak English when they come here and do so in public. The police department get less calls needing Kreyol speakers than Spanish speakers in the area where their populations are almost equal.

There has been some incredible violence in Haitian communities in Miami, and it's true Black people scare a lot of us. The fact is though if we listen to the whining from the Open borders folks a lot of their mileage comes from the fact that sending Mexicans home is cruel. If this is a reason for opening the southern border then we should run a ferry service to Haiti because their lives are far worse than the Mexicans lives. They live in abject poverty.
I'd like to see our government half as generous with Haiti as with Mexico, but I'd rather have no illegals from any country.
