FIRST ON FOX: A 23-year-old illegal immigrant accused of offering $10,000 on TikTok to kill ICE agents was arrested Tuesday in Texas, where, Fox News Digital has learned, he was allegedly carrying a loaded handgun.
Eduardo Aguilar, who was living in Dallas, is charged with transmitting in interstate or foreign commerce a communication containing a threat, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Aguilar allegedly posted a TikTok in Spanish on Oct. 9, calling for "10 dudes in Dallas with determination who aren’t afraid to [two skull emojis]," and offered "10K for each ICE agent."

The emojis are known to represent the word, "die," according to officials.
At the time of his arrest, officials said Aguilar had a loaded 9mm handgun in his vehicle, a felony in the U.S.
DHS officials said Aguilar entered the country illegally in 2018, as an unaccompanied minor.
On Feb. 8, 2019, an immigration judge issued him a final order of removal.

His criminal history in the U.S. includes charges of violating liquor laws, according to DHS.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said the shocking social media threat could have cost American lives.
"Thanks to the quick work of law enforcement, this illegal alien who was offering $10,000 cash bounties for the murder of ICE law enforcement is in custody and facing federal charges," McLaughlin said. "We are thankful this illegal alien who had a firearm in his possession was arrested before he could kill one of our law enforcement officers."

She noted agents are facing ambushes, terrorist attacks and death threats, "all because they dare to enforce the laws passed by Congress."
"We will not back down from these threats, and every criminal, terrorist, and illegal alien will face American justice," McLaughlin said.
Aguilar made his initial appearance Wednesday in front of a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Dallas, who ordered that he remain detained in federal custody, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas.
If convicted, he faces a maximum of five years in federal prison.
TikTok did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Illegal Alien Offering $10K Bounties to Kill ICE Agents Arrested in Dallas
Illegal Alien Offering $10K Bounties to Kill ICE Agents Arrested in Dallas
by Gregory Lyakhov Oct. 18, 2025 10:30 am

Eduardo Aguilar posted a TikTok video setting a $10,000 bounty on an ICE agent.
The Department of Homeland Security announced the arrest of Eduardo Aguilar, an illegal from Mexico living in Dallas, Texas, after he used TikTok to solicit the murder of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Aguilar’s post, written in Spanish, called for “10 dudes in Dallas with determination who aren’t afraid to [skull emojis],” and offered $10,000 for each ICE agent killed.
This was a direct solicitation for murder, broadcast publicly on social media.

The post circulated for days before law enforcement tracked him down.
At the time of his arrest, Aguilar was found with a loaded 9mm handgun in his vehicle.
Federal law prohibits aliens from possessing firearms, making his possession of the weapon a felony.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praised law enforcement for acting quickly in capturing Aguilar.
She emphasized that the arrest prevented a possible tragedy, noting that Aguilar had a firearm in his possession at the time of his capture.
McLaughlin stressed that ICE officers regularly face ambushes, terrorist attacks, and death threats simply for carrying out the immigration laws passed by Congress.
Aguilar’s history shows why the system continues to fail. He entered the United States illegally in 2018 as an unaccompanied minor.
In February 2019, an immigration judge issued him a final order of removal.
Yet, like countless others, he remained in the country, ignoring the order and accumulating a criminal record.
His past charges in the U.S. included violations of liquor laws, but he was never deported.
This failure to carry out removal orders allowed Aguilar to remain free long enough to escalate from minor crimes to plotting violence against federal officers.
The investigation was handled by a coalition of agencies, including ICE, the Federal Protective Service, the FBI’s Dallas Field Office, the Dallas Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Garland Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
Their combined work ensured Aguilar’s capture before his online threats could become a deadly reality.
This case highlights the dangerous consequences of ignoring immigration law. Aguilar was ordered removed over six years ago, yet remained in Dallas until his arrest.
His threats demonstrate how quickly unchecked illegal immigration can escalate into public safety crises.
ICE agents already face hostility from activists and politicians who treat enforcement as optional. Now they are being hunted by criminals who see them as targets.
The arrest in Dallas is a reminder that immigration enforcement is not a political talking point—it is a matter of life and death.
Federal officers must be protected, and those who threaten them must face swift justice.
