I read a speech purported to be given by either Stalin or Kruschev, it's been a while.

It was speaking of communism - but it fits today's situation.

The gist was

'We won't have to attack America to take it over. All we have to do is take away their belief in God, take away their love of their country, turn them on to promiscious sex and drugs and we can walk in and have them."

I say this over 20 years ago and it was old then.

Yes, years ago our pastors son said that the main newspaper in our area was communistic. I thought how does he know that? I thought it was just religious talk. Now, I believe him. It is like a slow steady trickle that you don't notice until you see a flood coming in and, of course, by then THEY deny the flood and refute what you know to be true. If they can isolate you and shame to into silence that is where their power comes.

It takes time for people to wake up or to at least start speaking publicly, as a group to refute the lies. (e.g. the illegals take jobs that Americans won't do). Of course by then, you can SEE that is a lie, so they divert. On and on it goes and they hope you will just tire out. That does happen to some, but as we become more aware we literally, like me, give out information, speak opening and publicly about the lies and give FACTS. FACTS never deter those who would push for their agenda. So we just keep talking, sharing, and working against the lies.

The most important issue I can see is to capture the young minds of children with TRUTH. They are the up and coming generations that must be battled for, and to prepare them for the battle.

Now I am not sure about this one. I think the OP does a disservice by assuming this struggle is between the left/right - if I read correctly.

For instance, during BUSH's reign - the border has NEVER been as wide open and as inviting as compared to any (modern) presidential tenure. And he is "right/republican".

So, is this truly a war of "communism" or perhaps a analgamation of fascism/communism. Because to me, both parties have been hijacked and though they war with each other - they both want different flavors to the same drink.. cherry coke and regular coke -- still coke.

BrightNail - I agree with you re: the political spectrum aspect of the problem.
While there are *some* differences in overall comparisons by 'typical' Dems vs. Reps, the real contrast on the issue [IMHO, of course] lies in the 'vertical' aspect of the situation - eg. 'elites' vs. 'common people'. The differences in attitudes, opinions, beliefs, etc. are rather well-defined overall based on which strata of the society a persons falls into.

The long march....yes, that is what we face. We ourselves have a long march ahead.

I disagree with analysis of Bush. He is a Republican but he certainly is right wing. He isn't terribly conservative. Even Rush Limbaugh said, "Bush is a Republican but he isn't a conservative." I heard that straight from his mouth after his two hour meeting with Bush. No a right wing Republican would have the border secured.

I do agree with you Phrede and the difference between "elites" and the "common people".

IMO this has been a long planned out path for our country, I also believe if we don't stop it soon it will be to late, and any American who believes this had better get involved before it can not be turned around.

I also believe this illegal immigration is the Key, we must stop this first and work on the other issuse's at the same time. Above all else we should do our best to get the politicians out of office that are working against the American people.

One of the hardest parts of the whole mess is getting Americans to believe it is happening and not just some conspiracy theory.

Yes, illegal immigration is simply a tool they are using to destroy America.

Americans are/were a strong, independent, well off (by the world's standards), and by and large a moral society - not necessarily as in religious - although that too - just in doing the right thing.

All that had to be changed before the new order could be put in place.
