Funny Visit to Mexican Restaraunt with 4 police cars

Well guys, here in the south, i love me some Mexican food and such, the place I went to is one that I don't normally frequent, and when I got there, there were 4 police cars sitting outside on the street.

So, I used this as a ploy to insue my little scheme of sorts upon the workers inside.

Me and my date entered the restaraunt and were seated. We got our orders taken, ate, etc. As we were talking and such, our waiter came over and I asked her "There are 4 police cruisers sitting out side, seemingly interested in the restaraunt. I am just curious if they are about to perform a raid on this place? " Waiter pauses and frowns, says "well, honestly don't no why they would be there sir." So I told her "well, might want to tell your workers to take a look outside".. With that, the lady filled our drinks and walked off towards the back area where the cooking goes on. Being it was out of sight, I could not say what she said to them, but suspect she said something to them.

anyway, just thought I'd share, I'm sure the police were there for something else, but why not use it as a good excuse to scare them a bit you know

I love it! Sounds like a great idea to me. And even those cars that LOOK like unmarked cop cars.

I bet they were just eating there too.

The number of my posts shouldn't determine or reflect my interest on the board. I don't post just to increase my ranking.

Why would they worry about the lowly local police?

What if they had been illegal and ran away? Then your food would have been late.

My hometown here in NC has a Mexican restaurant, run by Mexicans about every half mile. One road has 4 of them in a 1 mile stretch. I personally love mexican food, but I am boycotting the ones not run by Americans. If they don't have jobs, they're more likely to go back to their home countries. Every little bit helps.

I do that, too, WavTek. There are over 200 Mexican Restaurants in this city so I can always find another one if I see things that make me suspicious. If the menu is printed in any language other than English, I don't go there, either.
