ILLEGALS MARCH ON AUSTIN: Immediate ACTION NEEDED!

    Friends of ALIPAC,

We need an immediate national response to aid our American supporters on the ground in Texas, as thousands of illegal aliens and their supporters converge on the state Capitol in Austin!

Big money is behind these marches, and the illegals are being bused in and provided with flags and signs. They are chanting things like "We won't stand for this type of legislation" and "No Arizona Hate in Texas."

    Background articles
Austin, TX - Illegal Alien Marches culminate in rally at Capitol
    http://www.alipac.us/article-6103-thread-1-0.html

PLEASE HELP ALIPAC's NATIONAL DEPLOYMENT TO TEXAS

When a mob of illegal aliens swarmed the legislature in Georgia trying to derail our legislation, ALIPAC responded quickly and our bills passed.

When another mob gathered in Arizona last year and national organizations that support Amnesty tried to stop our bills, ALIPAC responded and we won.

Now, it is time for us to defend the work of the pro American legislators in Texas.

We need ALIPAC supporters in EVERY state to assist Texans today by following these simple steps.

    1. Craft your own personalized version of our sample message below.

"I'm calling/writing today to ask Texas lawmakers to support American workers, students, taxpayers, and voters who are being harmed and victimized by illegal immigration. Texans are being displaced and replaced in their jobs, classroom seats, and elections by illegal aliens that should not be in our country. Please crack down on sanctuary cities and pass a stronger version of Arizona's historic law in 2011. Please stand with Americans against the illegal immigrants protesting in Austin."

    2. Pick up your phone and use the contact links below to start calling as many members of the Texas legislature as possible. Calls coming in from ALIPAC supporters on the ground in Texas, combined with calls coming in from many other states can have a big impact!

    Texas Legislature Contact Links....

    STATE HOUSE: http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/Members/ ... ?Chamber=H

    STATE SENATE: http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/Members/ ... ?Chamber=S

    3. Follow up your distinct and personalized message to each lawmaker with a written version sent by email, fax, or letter. Remember that calls followed by written copies are the most effective way to influence lawmakers short of face-to-face meetings.

If you would like to review ALIPAC's collection of bills filed in Texas this year to see which ones you favor the most, please visit our tracking link for Texas at this link...

Texas is where ALIPAC's second largest support and volunteer bases reside. When we have needed volunteers and donors to help other states, Texans have brought that support.

Now it is our turn to help our folks in Texas as illegal aliens and their supporters march on our Capitol trying to stop our bills!

    Let's roll!

URGENT PHOTO VOTER ID BILL HEARING SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 1ST

by Immigration Reform Coalition of Texas (IRCOT) on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11:20pm

COMMITTEE: Voter Identification & Voter Fraud, Select

    TIME & DATE: 8:00 AM, Tuesday, March 01, 2011

PLACE: JHR 140 CHAIR: Rep. Dennis Bonnen

Rep. Dennis Bonnen issued a press release this afternoon announcing that the Photo Voter ID Bill (SB 14) will be heard in committee Tuesday, March 1st. According to the press release, "testimony on both sides of this critical issue will be given full consideration during the hearing."

Senate Bill 14 in its pure form is a true Photo Voter ID. Of the nine amendments added to the bill, two of these offered by Republicans substantially weaken the bill. Amendment F-35 added by Sen. Dan Patrick, WOULD ALLOW ANYONE WITH A HANDICAP PARKING PERMIT AN EXEMPTION FROM PRESENTING A PHOTO ID. In Harris County alone, over 480,000 permits exist. This is clearly a black hole which would encourage additional fraud.

Amendment F-40 by Sen. Robert Duncan allows exemptions for indigent persons to go to their voter registration office and claim they are not able TO TRAVEL TO A DEPT. OF PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE TO OBTAIN A PHOTO VOTER ID AND THEY AUTOMATICALLY ARE ADDED TO THE VOTER ROLLS. This amendment also gives AN EXEMPTION TO INDIVIDUALS WHO CLAIM THAT HAVING THEIR PICTURE TAKEN IS AGAINST THEIR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.

Call the Members of the Select Committee on Voter ID and Voter Fraud and URGE THEM TO:

    * SUPPORT SENATE BILL 14 IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM
    * STRIP ALL AMENDMENTS FROM THE BILL -- ALL THE AMENDMENTS ADOPTED SUBSTANTIALLY WEAKEN THE BILL.

As always, please be respectful when you call.

    Rep. Dennis Bonnen (R) (512) 463-0564

    Rep. Jose Aliseda (R) (512) 463-0645

    Rep. Patricia Harless (R) (512) 463-0496

    Rep. Harvey Hildebran (R) (512) 463-0536

    Rep. Aaron Pena (R) (512) 463-0426

    Rep. Larry Taylor (R) (512) 463-0729

    Rep. Scott Hochberg (D) (512) 463-0492

    Rep. Marc Veasey (D) (512) 463-0716

    Rep. Roland Gutierrez (D) (512) 463-0452

I just finished a calling blitz of everyone there except the janitor. Turns out he cannot speak english. Bottom line I got was from most ...They are getting hit heavy from all over with calls from supporters of stricter immigration laws and that it seems everyone is pushing the point that bottom line is illegals are criminals by fact they broke the law coming here. Keep up the pressure as our voice is coming through loud and clear. I told them we don't need no stinkin buses. We are here and legal and we don't want the illegals to remain within our borders.
