    Where to Bank?

We bank with Bank of America. The name no longer represents anything of value. Their business principles no longer represent anything of value to us either.

We will not do business any longer with an institution which would support an illegal activity or condone and support any group or groups that have a racist agenda such as Mecha, LaRaza, KKK, Black Panthers, Brown Berets etc.

I guess here is where the proverbial rubber meets the road thing. Does anyone have any research in this area for a "clean" banking institution? We don't care if it is a small local bank as long as they are not "dirty".

I do mean "dirty". It almost feels as though we are involved with "dirty" money at this point. We are in the Dallas area.

    Hi Trouble
I'm feeling the same and facing the same choice. I'm satisfied for now at taking a small hit at the dirtiest of the dirty. So many of the big banks are involved in illegal alien banking I think it will be useless to look to them. I'm going to question my small local banks and credit unions. I'm particularly concerned about banks that have large amounts in home loans to illegals for the obvious when we clear them out.

    Trouble,

I am a member of a credit union. You might look into that, since the members are "shareholders" and have some control over what goes on. Best coustomer service I've ever received in my life! 15 years with my CU and not a single complaint! Good interest rates too.

Never liked Bank of America. In Florida it was the bank my paycheck was on. I didn't have a bank account so I went there to cash my check. They started charging 5.00 to cash the check. Not to mention being fingerprinted each time. They were trying to force the direct deposit. Unfortunatly for most....if there was an error.....they just took your money out with no notice and for many it was YEARS trying to get it back and get things straightned out. I'd personally use a sock before I put 1 dime with them.

I'll post whatever I start to find out. I like the ideea of the Credit Union thing. Seems like it is going to be a task to find but I think it is worth letting them know exactly why I am doing it when I leave them.

OBTW-Dixie, I did PM you about being from Texas. Don't know if you got it or not. Let me know whenever your ready.

I would also recommend a credit union, so long as your financial activities are primarily local. Because I have frequently had residences in multiple states, I got saddled with the necessity of using a large interstate bank. The irony is that the bank, now B of A, at which I originally opened my account was not a bank at all, but an S&L. It eventually was bought by Republic National, which was bought by NCNB, which was bought by NationsBank, which then merged with B of A.

There are other options, such as offshore banking, which are attractive but which require some discretion.

Whatever you do, don't bank at Fifth Third. This bank panders to illegals - sponsoring Mexican consulate to provide matricula cards during "immigrant fairs". Also, promoting house loans that no citizen would qualify for so easily. I'm moving my money to the credit union associated with my work place.
    Good luck!

ALIPAC is working on a project with some activists to get you some help on the Banking question.

I hope you will like the results of our efforts when they are ready for release.

Good point about the banks. Help is on the way.

That would be extremely helpful. Can't wait to see it.

I hope more and more of this starts happening. We are starting to look around at small Mom & Pop stores again to do our shopping. Trying to cut out the large juggernauts that have sold out our country.

    Thanks ALIPAC,
    Trouble
