    immigrants rights and the aclu

    http://www.aclu.org/ImmigrantsRights/Im ... tsMain.cfm

It is true that the Constitution does not give foreigners the right to enter the U.S. But once here, it protects them from discrimination based on race and national origin and from arbitrary treatment by the government.

Per the links to the ACLU.....

This page is where you contact the Governor of New Mexico via the courtesy of the ACLU. I wove that. Use the page to send a message to the Governor that we want the National Guard on the border, and we want the invasion of illegal aliens stopped. And that while some legal groups do not have the ability to distinqish between illegal aliens and immigrants, you can, and you want the State of New Mexico to enforce the law, and NOT provide aid and comfort to the illegal aliens.

This page is supposed to allow you to to ask the Congress to protect immigrats' rights to access courts. Immigrants do have that right, but illegal aliens who sneak into town with the help and efforts of the Mexican Army should not be allowed to do so in my opinion. So.. if you use this page to send a message to the Congress asking them to censor the ACLU and NOT spend taxpayers money aiding and comforting illegal aliens in such an assine way, it would be helpful.

The Mexican Army is seriously involved in smuggling narcotics and people over the border at this point, and perhaps Congress could ask the Mexican Army to pay for those court appearences.

Their army as well as the various police units are basically just another type of mercenary.Other than killing Indians in Chiapas why do they need a standing army?To protect their borders?

This post makes a pretty good point. And it is a place countries all over the world are dealing with in reality.

This democratic world has.... human rights. Illegal immigrants, as well as legal immigrats, have rights. And we should respect them! I can accept that and deal with it.

But lets move this over to two groups.
The first.. the citizens, and we have a right to expect our laws to be enforced, and government rule by vote. Not necessarly by edict, and most certainly not by thuggery as Mr. Bush is damned busy doing. (Not building detention centers... not funding the Border Patrol)

The second.. criminals, illegal aliens, and invaders.
    -----------------------------------------
After the rights of the first group are satisfied, the rights of the second group should be respected. But because the second group is extra legal, it is critical to get the first groups rights in place before we deal with the second groups rights.
    ===================

We need to start thinking about our Constitution and how.. our.. rights as citizens are being abridged, or abused. Are they, for example, being abused when the Border Patrol knowlingly allows criminal groups such as illegal aliens in the country without providing detention for all of them as apposed to only some go to jail, and others get release-on-your-own-recognizces? We have a hook there... I don't know where,...

Law abiding citizens have rights. It is just a matter of finding out how we are being abused by the processes and going for the throat when we find it.

I simply don't understand what human rights has to do with "illegal aliens?"

No one is saying to starve them, torture them, put panties on their heads. Simply REMOVE THEM TO THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

Or, are they saying that by living in their own country they're being tortured, starved and having panties placed on their heads? Just be virtue of being in their own countries is a human rights violation?

This has never made sense to me.
