A good thank you is always appreciated

After reading that the pro-enforcement Sheriff Terry Johnson of Alamance County NC, I e-mailed him:
Although I am a resident of Char-Meck, I just want to express my appreciation for all you and your officers are doing in your neck of the woods to enforce immigration laws.
My job has been outsourced and I have not been able to find a new one because of visa-holders that never leave and illegals that will work for pennies, while piled into homes that do not allow that amount of people.
The responsibility of enforcing the laws of this country falls on all of us, not only you on the front lines, and for those that claim it is only the responsibility of the feds are sloughing their responsibility to protect their citizens in every way they can.
    Again, thank you.
    And received this reply:

I appreciate you e-mail. People in this nation does not understand what the immigration problems are costing Americans. Someday soon, they may open their eyes.

I've emailed him on several occasions, just to say thanks or keep up the great work; and the man ALWAYS replies. Like you, I feel a" thanks" or "atta boy" goes a long way for morale.

I honestly think he shares the emails with all his staff, just so they know that what they do IS appreciated.

Thank you vortex. I also sent him a letter of appreciation just now"
    Sheriff Terry Johnson

I just wanted to sit down and write at least a short letter to your department and congratulate you and your officers on the great job you have performed on the enforcement of immigration laws (287g) in your county.

I live over here in Rockingham County but work with some of the guys that live over in your area.

I participated in the one rally that was held at the Alamance Courthouse last year. We did not have a lot of people show but we did put the word out there and it was noticed.

It is everyones duty to enforce our laws so even if it pertains to immigration laws we still should be held responsible to see them carried out and enforced. This even has an impact on our Homeland Security ,which should make it a #1 priority with our leaders in Washington!

They must be busy bailing out our corporations! No,really ICE has been doing a great job as well. And they are very good about taking care of the people they do bust and their families. So I see no prejudices there at all.

Please keep our streets safe against the onslaught of the INVADERS!

    Thank You For Listening

That is where I attended my first rally against the illegal invasion!

Perhaps it should also be our mission to thank those everywhere in this country that do anything to enforce immigration laws, whether officials or just plain American citizens. While we are safely behind our computers, there are real patriots out on the front lines. I just want to thank all of them so I can sit safely behind my computer and pontificate.

Good job, Vortex. I think we only have one Sheriff in our entire state who enforces the immigration laws. Guess I'll have to thank him.

Where I live I'm always calling the local Border Patrol station and saying thanks!
