There was a discussion on Fox News that North Carolina is discussing the elimination of some of the history of the United States in Social Studies and History, in favor for more modern day discussions, that may include global warming, third world debt relief, etc. In high school, history would begin around 1877, and go forward. The exclusion of discussion about the founders was part of that which would be revised or eliminated.

On another note about schools and brainwashing, the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) has lesson plans available to teachers and schools to affect the thinking of students in grades k-12. Why is that allowed? Why are they allowed to be part of school activities and to shape school learning? They cover things like acceptance of undocumented immigrants, the hard struggles of illegal aliens, the mean ole U.S. that stepped up enforcement, comparing illegal immigration to civil rights and slavery, and they include worksheets to ask students for answers to crafted questions. They also ask questions about what the students' textbooks say on certain subjects, probably to have a say in what is taught.

Congress, and state legislatures needs to tell the Southern Poverty Law Center to get out of the schools. How can parents know that this monkey business goes on? There is a map to show the schools that participated in an event sponsored by SPLC. Other groups pushing for amnesty were possibly involved too.
