Thread: Indian Software Mogul: Hire Americans Now Because Trump Opposes H-1B Outsourcing Visa

Americans in their 40's I have heard talk about how hard it is to find a job and discrimination. Myself turning 60 today have been looking for a position for 2 years after getting my Degree, I have been working temp services temp positions no one wants to hire anyone over 40 anymore. It is age discrimination they can't ask your age so they ask the year you graduated. Then they ask if you are on foodstamps, government programs, nationality, minority, if recently released from prison (some letters they call the program) there are several more programs listed. These people get preference and most who are hired are subsidized by the government. If you answer no to any government programs you most likely will no be hired, You tell them the year you graduated which can give your age you most likely won't get hired if you are over 40. Which don't matter when they see you they will say the position is filled and will still be listed in employment adds for weeks. There may be jobs out there but they are not for people over 40. Many I have spoken to have given up and collect SS disability because they have to live. Obviously something is wrong in this country.
