What will ALIPAC do in this situation?

I have a question William. You posted a very favorable copy of an ALIPAC survey that was completed by Lee Ballenger (Democrat) who is running againt Rep. Gresham Barrett (R-SC) in district 3 for the United States House of Representatives. While Rep. Barrett's opponent, Lee Ballenger, sound like a great candidate, he does not have a proven track record. Please check out Rep. Barrett's voting report card:

My question is, which candidate does ALIPAC support? The one who signes the contract and tells us what we want to hear or the one who has an exceptional history in supporting anti-illeal immigrant measures? I guess this is a good problem to have (one that seems exceedingly rare), but none the less, it is a dilemma. Just curious on how ALIPAC confronts such an issue, thanks.

Rep. Gresham Barrett (R-SC) has one of the strongest voting records supporting our cause that I've seen to date. Check this out:

Wow, 54 votes and only one dud!

    MW,

ALIPAC's Board of Directors will review the surveys and the voting history of incumbents. Even with incumbents with strong scores at Betterimmigration dot com, we would like them to sign our pledge to give us clarification on their stance against Guest/Temporary worker.

We will put the list out soon, but any member of the Senate that voted for @ 2611 and any member of Congress that voted against the enforcement bill is going on the ALIPAC Black List.

Outside of that, we will make our endorsements on a case by case basis.
