Gutierrez now believes that the window of opportunity for amnesty is in August, and that the Senate must go first. He blames the White House mostly for the stalling of CIR.

Gutierrez is also mad that Obama stoped using "undocumented workers" and started using "illegal aliens" and called them that 7 times during a speech he gave at a town . Says that the term hurts their cause.

At the 26:20 mark, he is asked why CIR is not called amnesty, and that what is the difference between the two.

Hurts the amnesty cause, since the term illegal aliens makes the look as criminals.

Frank Sharry said the window is in June. I believe it was Sen. Menendez who said the window is after the midterms in the lame duck session. Other amnesty proponents want to try a piecemeal approach like the Dream Act and AgJobs amnesties now.

Needless to say, we have to stay vigilant.

A month ago, Gutierrez held a conference call, and he said the the window was in June. Knowing what he knows now, he knows that June is out of the question. So he sees a glimer of hope for late August and September.

I've also head that Menendez expects to pass amnesty in December. What will complicate things alot for them is that on December 1st, the Fiscal Debt Commission will come out with their results regarding the state of debt of the federal government. When the public finds out the bad shape the country is in, the Dems will be suicidial if they bring up an amnesty bill after that.
