Iowa parade showcases Clinton in prison

A parade float in small town in Iowa last weekend offered onlookers the opportunity to toss water balloons at a Hillary Clinton impersonator standing in a makeshift cell.

The float showcased a man dressed in a Clinton mask and orange jumpsuit inside a cage made of fencing and barbed wire, according to The Daily Times Herald. A sign on the display said “Hillary for Prison.”Parade-goers then had the opportunity to hurl hundreds of water balloons at the Clinton figure.

Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, was the star attraction at the parade celebrating the 100th anniversary of the fire department in Arcadia, Iowa. The float was organized by Iowa residents Kyle Julin, Josh Reetz, and Adam Corky, who impersonated Clinton, according to the Herald.

Iowa is a swing state, and a recent Monmouth University poll showed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump leading Clinton, 44 percent to 42 percent. Another poll, from The Wall Street Journal and NBC News, showed Clinton with an edge, 42 percent to 39 percent.

Another Clinton impersonator in an orange jumpsuit last month strolled through the Republican National Convention, where calls of “lock her up” broke out among the crowd daily.

"Lock her up!" was popular theme at #RNC2016. This guy made the rounds on floor, posing with various Republicans.
