Hello? Is everyone here forgetting the "National ID" proposal that has been tossed around in this country off and on for the last few years? Or the RFID tagging? Or the bio-ID programs proposed ; thumbprint signatures (some banks use already), retinal scans, facial mapping ID?

Barkway, look on the ID stuff i have to retinal scans every day when i go to work. Though i work for a large US defense contractor and i can understand the purpose and logic for it and the security of it all. I am scared as you are in how far this techonology is really going and that concerns me. I will never allow something to be placed inside me for the simple purpose of it being for security. Yes, i realize i sould hypocritical but if you new what type of stuff we work on i think you would change your mind.
