Letter: Politicians sell out citizens for illegal aliens

Our politicians have conned us once again. The failure to pass immigration reform proves that our lawmakers have no intention of protecting their own citizens against illegal aliens. They didn't even pass E-Verify, probably the most efficient way of protecting American workers.

When Florida Sen. J. D. Alexander, R-Lake Wales, states in this paper that he doesn't like E-Verify because of his experiences on his own farm, that tells me he is more than likely hiring illegal aliens himself.

When illegal aliens are lining the halls of the state capitol, demanding to be heard by our own lawmakers, you have nothing short of anarchy. Illegal aliens seem to have more rights than you do as a citizen.

Who is looking out for the citizens? Our president makes jokes about people wanting to protect our borders by claiming maybe we should have alligators and a moat.

Our county sheriff has stated he doen't want to fool with illegals because it's the federal government's job. Oh yeah, if that's the case then why does the Sheriff's Office hand tickets out on a federal highway like U.S.1? Shouldn't that be the federal government's job too?

The truth is these politicans want cheap, slave, illegal labor. They have no problem making you compete with them. As long as they get campaign money and more votes it is perfectly fine with them. If you think a person who sneaks into our country illegally, uses a fake Social Security number, or drives without a driver's license, has any qualms about voting illegally, you are sadly mistaken. Many are voting and the politicians all know it.

Any vote by any non-citizen is a vote stolen from the American people. And why is Florida spending $5.5 billion on people who aren't supposed to be here?
