Quiet frankly...I think all charities have become a scam and serve no one but the people who create them. Much of the money does not end up to the people it was intended for...i.e. The Clintons are one very good example.

The Church tax-exempt status needs to be eliminated as well. They have turned into meddling into our politics, have their own agenda and undermine our Laws to them keep afloat. Now they are in the human trafficking business...getting BILLIONS of OUR hard earned tax dollars against my wishes to keep the gravy train going.

I agree Beezer, 100%. The FairTax does this through the tax structure. There are still 501 C 3 designations, since these are established by different laws than the revenue code the FairTax repeals, but it's a meaningless designation financially, as it should be.

You might ask the people in the 47 states who already have a retail sales tax.
