He should end this shutdown, get our full government back up and running and then build the wall with unspent funds and the military budget like he planned to do and already said he was doing. I sit "border security" or immigration policy here that is critical. Yes we need to stop the uninvited flow of people. But even then we need to address the myriad loopholes in our immigration agenda.

If they are going to at some point cut a deal, cut one that has some meaning.
