I come to this forum looking for issues concerning immigration, specifically illegal immigration. I go to the "Other Topics" forum for the other news.

Great video's...lets hope this tax revolt will start speading the message on illegal immigration with it...as you can see in some of them, the cost pisses people off, well so will the loss of jobs and the crime, with crowds like this to begin with, they can build huge rallys from there.

Wow!!!

I can only imagine that we will see more of these rallies with more and more people in attendance all the time.

People really were awake to what was going on in this country awhile ago.....it was then just a matter of getting past the denial that government is not working in our best interests, AND the rather conservative mindset that "taking it to the streets" is behavior reserved only for radicals and militants.

LOL......this kind of thing HAS to be an absolute waking nightmare for treasonous public officials, greedy employers, the "hispanic only" special interests, and a country like Mexico as they realize they've been exposed and fed up Americans are not going to take anymore of it

Well, it's not like we could get in the front to really see and hear much, there were too many people there by the time we finally parked. The traffic just trying to get in was horrible and yet I was glad to see there was obviously a huge turn out. At one point we were behind a bus that had a sign 'Tax Revolt 2009 follow me' which I thought was cool. Heard some people never did park, just gave up. But we did finally find a place. It was a good crowd of people mostly. Did see one man holding a 'no to illegals' sign who was being taunted by a couple pro-illegals but he held his own talking real loud about the issue. Think he actually was enjoying the exchange. People had so many creative signs, costumes and the like. Although we're upset over the tax issue in this state people were patient and quite friendly. Guess we were just glad to be among so many other citizens who feel taken advantage of and lied to. I'd go again, was worth it.
