Judge Jeanine Pirro: Identity Theft Criminals Are Just Waiting For People To Sign Up On Healthcare.gov

During her opening statement on Justice, Judge Jeanine Pirro talked about what is probably the biggest problem facing the healthcare.gov website: its lack of security.

“For weeks we’ve been hearing about a malfunctioning website that virtually no one has been able to access,” Pirro said. “But what you haven’t heard much about is the dark side, the underbelly of healthcare.gov. The truth: millions of unwitting Americans like you are being teed up for identity theft and fraud by con men, criminals lying in wait for the mother lode, for millions of you to sign up on that website. That is, once it’s functional.”

We have already noted how the government granted itself a waiver concerning the security requirements for the ObamaCare website. The natural fallout from that lack of security will be criminals preying on unsuspecting enrollees.

Signing ObamaCare into law was probably the most irresponsible thing that this President has ever done. Allowing that website to go live, with the personal information of applicants exposed to unscrupulous individuals, is probably the second most irresponsible thing that this President has ever done.

Oh, yeah. President Obama also lied when he said that people could keep their existing health insurance under his health care law. That was irresponsible as well.
