Obama's humanitarian blackout: lawmakers barred from taking photos of immigrant children in desperate conditions

    Saturday, June 14, 2014 by: J. D. Heyes

(NaturalNews) In an outrageous display of arrogance, the Obama administration's Department of Health and Human Services, the same agency that so botched the rollout of the still-dysfunctional Healthcare.gov website, says it will allow elected members of Congress to tour a California facility housing some of the thousands of illegal alien children who have been pouring across the U.S. border in recent weeks, but only under certain conditions.

One of the rules is: you can't take any pictures.

According to The Daily Caller, the temporary shelter in which HHS is offering to provide what can only be called a "sanitized" tour is located at the Ventura County Naval Base in Oxnard, Calif. Lawmakers and their senior staff are invited; the tour was scheduled to take place June 13.

But the invite comes with a ton of rules, including a "suggestion" that members leave their cell phones in their vehicles. As reported by The DC:

The tours are meant to give members and staffers an inside look at how temporary facilities are being used to house illegal immigrant children who came to the U.S. without their parents. The minors, who hail mostly from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, are being called "Unaccompanied Children," or UACs.

    Burgeoning humanitarian disaster

The invitation was sent to members of Congress and staff by Rose Hacking, of the office of the assistant secretary of legislation at HHS. It came with this list of commands:

--No recording devices will be allowed (We may ask you to leave your cellphone in our vehicle)

--No questions will be allowed during the tour, but questions will be addressed later

--No interacting with staff and children at the shelter

--We will provide photos of the facility after the tour

During the commencement of the tour, "the tour guide will detail what goes on from room to room and the services youth are provided on a daily basis," according to the email invitation.

The DC said that one congressional staffer invited to the tour has labeled it "a dog and pony show."

And it is, at a minimum. Earlier, smuggled photos have shown kids stuffed into overcrowded facilities (See them here). Already there are reports of spreading sickness at some facilities, Britain's Daily Mail reported.

"Don't talk to anyone, don't record anything you might happen to see, but come visit us and we'll give you a sanitized story with only the photos and accounts we want you to have," said the anonymous congressional staffer, who requested anonymity.

"This isn't some totalitarian closed society trying this tactic, this is our own government. They clearly wouldn't be offering up this kind of dog and pony show if they weren't hiding a very ugly truth somewhere."

Because of the tremendous crush of illegal immigrant children (and adults) pouring into the country - some say because of Obama's unilateral decision in 2012 to order the Department of Homeland Security to stop deportation of them - in Texas and elsewhere, the UAC's are being taken to other facilities, such as the holding center at Naval Base Ventura County. In addition, FEMA is coordinating the effort, with HHS handling the housing and care for the children through the Office of Refuge Resettlement.

But the June 13 tour is only being offered at the one naval base, according to the invitation.

The housing of the UACs has raised a number of questions, many of them humanitarian in nature. Some critics in Congress wonder how long the facilities will be used to house the migrant children, for example, but at present neither the president nor DHS has put a timeline out.

Others are concerned that the children themselves are in danger of falling into the hands of kidnappers, traffickers and other criminals. And the quality and conditions at the temporary facilities themselves are major concerns.

'We're in the midst of a manufactured crisis'

For example, as noted by The DC:

The Naval Base Ventura County currently has capacity for 230 UACs. Current occupation is at 91, leaving 139 open beds. But HHS has plans to increase the overall capacity to 575, according to a document obtained [earlier] by The DC.

Instead of being turned away at the border, UACs - under Obama's immigration policy - are required to be placed in temporary shelters. From there, federal agencies begin deportation processing while at the same time looking for relatives or sponsors to house them in the U.S.

But the bottom line, as noted by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, whose state is currently inundated - as usual - by illegal migrants, is that this humanitarian crisis was fomented by, and is being enabled by, the president himself.

"Our country is in the midst of a crisis manufactured by President Obama and his administration's refusal to enforce our nation's immigration laws," Brewer said in a tweet to members of Congress. "It has become clear that the administration has encouraged this massive influx and intends to continue ignoring the states' calls to end this policy. Furthermore, it is indisputably evident that our border is not secure and is hardly 'more secure than ever,'" a jab at former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, herself an ex-Arizona governor.

Brewer has also written directly to Obama in a bid to convince him to do more to enforce the nation's immigration laws. That letter is here.

TURNING TEXAS BLUE: More Than 35,000 Illegals Entering TX Each Month

    Posted on June 16, 2014
It makes you wonder why there is nothing being done about this, except for the Obama administration accommodating for them – which would also make you wonder. See the latest numbers on illegal immigration in Texas from the LA Times below:
The call went out on Border Patrol radios just before sundown one day this week: 31 immigrants spotted illegally crossing the Rio Grande on a raft.
No sooner had the migrants been found hiding in the mesquite brush than another report came in: A woman and boy were walking up the riverbank.
The Rio Grande Valley has become ground zero for an unprecedented surge in families and unaccompanied children flooding across the Southwest border, creating what the Obama administration is calling a humanitarian crisis as border officials struggle to accommodate new detainees. Largely from Central America, they are now arriving at a rate of more than 35,000 a month.
Anzalduas Park, a 96-acre expanse of close-cropped fields and woodland that sits on the southern bend of the river, has turned from an idyllic family recreation area into a high-traffic zone for illegal migration.
The number of children and teenagers traveling alone from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador is expected to reach up to 90,000 across the Southwest border by the end of the year, along with a surge of families with children seeking safe passage into the U.S.
“This is the hottest spot in the nation for crossings,” said Hidalgo County Precinct 3 Constable Lazaro “Larry” Gallardo, a valley native who said he had never seen a migration wave of such a scale during his 14 years in office.
“Something’s got to be done because the numbers are just too high.”

HOPE & MEXICAN GANGS: Obama Opens BordersTo Mexican Gang-bangers

    Posted on June 16, 2014
Ah, how sweet of Obama. Allowing these poor young men into our Land O’Plenty to ‘do the jobs’ Americans don’t want to do, like rape, murder, drug dealing, etc. Epic and deadly fail. Get a gun folks and watch your six. See below according to the Washington Times:
Border Patrol officials are swamped by the number of minors crossing illegally into the United States and frustrated that they can’t turn away known Mexican gang members.
Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, said that confirmed gang members in Mexico — including those from Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) — are coming into the country to be reunited with their families, National Review reported Friday.
“If he’s a confirmed gang member in his own country, why are we letting him in here? … I’ve heard people come in and say, ‘You’re going to let me go, just like you let my mother go, just like you let my sister go. You’re going to let me go as well, and the government’s going to take care of us,’” Mr. Cabrera told the magazine.

Sickening photo's of humanitarian crisis at border.
    Courtesy of Congressman Henry Cuellar

A staggering humanitarian crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border has left federal officials scrambling to provide basic human necessities to thousands of undocumented immigrants — most of them unaccompanied children — who have flowed over the divide. The office of U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas), who represents the district including the southern border town of Laredo, provided Business Insider with photos showing just how bad the conditions are at one federal facility where some of these immigrants are being held.
Cuellar's office said the photos were taken recently in a Customs and Border Protection facility in south Texas. The congressman's office declined to identify the exact source or location of the photos to protect the source's identity.
Overall, the pictures show some of the stark challenges facing immigrants as well as federal officials attempting to address the flood of people streaming over the border. In many cases, the undocumented immigrants are crammed into rooms with nowhere to sleep or even sit. And in at least one case (the first photo below), one of the immigrants has rashes that Cuellar's office said were reported to be either scabies or chickenpox.
The situation is rapidly becoming a "humanitarian crisis," in the words of President Barack Obama.
Every day, hundreds of children cross the border, mostly making their way from violence-stricken areas in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. The causes for the influx are many, but a large portion are children fleeing increased drug and gang violence.
They have overwhelmed Border Patrol resources in the Rio Grande area, causing many migrants to be sent to processing facilities in Texas and Arizona. However, most of these detention facilities are not designed for long-term residency, which creates a nightmare situation for officials trying to relieve the backlog and, of course, for the immigrants who find themselves living in facilities like the one depicted in these photos.
Several immigration reform advocacy organizations have lodged complaints with the Department of Homeland Security over Border Patrol agents' alleged mistreatment of the undocumented immigrants. Multiple Republican lawmakers, on the other hand, have blamed Obama's policies for attracting greater numbers of immigrants.
Cuellar has said the influx of immigrants shows the need for Congress to pass legislation that comprehensively overhauls the nation's immigration system. He toured the Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, on Saturday, when he spoke with the agents there, as well as the adults and unaccompanied children in the facility.
"In speaking to Border Patrol today, they commented to me that we cannot enforce ourselves out of this problem," Cuellar said in a statement of his facility tour. "Bringing more officers or paying for overtime is not the way to address this influx of migrants — we need a change of policy and we need to find long-term solutions."

KARNES COUNTY -- KENS 5 has received exclusive dash cam video of a chase in Karnes County.
But this was not just any chase, this one led to the discovery of more than two dozen illegal immigrants.
The sheriff said that type of activity is picking up and they're seeing a lot more juveniles.
An early morning chase caught on dash cam video.
WATCH DASH CAM VIDEO OF CHASE:

"It was probably about a total of 30 that bailed out," Karnes County Sheriff, Dwayne Villanueva said.
Villanueva said his deputies came across two SUVs loaded with illegal immigrants. It happened near US Highway 181 and County Road 211.
In the dash cam video, You can see deputies were about to pull the driver's over when several several dozen people took off. The driver of a second vehicle sped off full speed crashing into a brushy area.
"One individual did get run over but he also fled the scene," Villanueva said.
The SUVs were recovered. Inside there were t-shirts, a hat and empty plastic bottles.
Throughout the day, deputies searched for several hours trying to catch all those that bailed.
A couple immigrants were spotted on 181 near Hobson, including a man who became dehydrated after hiding on a hot day. He was taken to a local hospital to get checked out.
    "It's overwhelming," Villanueva said.
Villanueva said this type of activity is happening more often in Karnes county and they're starting to see younger faces.
"There was several that were juveniles they’re a younger generation," said Villanueva.
Most of the immigrants are from Honduras.
In all, Karnes County deputies caught 25 of the 30 illegal immigrants. They also caught one of the drivers and the second one is still at large.
There is no word on any charges yet but DPS and ICE are investigating.

Texas Police Chase Down SUVs Carrying Dozens Of Illegals

Our southern border has been under attack by illegals for some time now, and with Obama’s recent promise of amnesty it’s getting even worse. There’s thousands of people pouring over the border daily, and the Obama administration has refused to do anything about it.

A recent video captured by sheriffs in Texas shed light on the massive problem with illegals crossing the border and just how out of control it really is.
The dash cam footage from a cruiser in Karnes County, Texas shows a chase involving a pair of SUVs loaded to the max with illegal aliens along US Highway 181. While in pursuit, the vehicles stop out of nowhere and dozens of illegals come pouring out of them and scatter into the brush.
According to the county sheriff, Dwayne Villanueva, incidents like this happen much more often than are reported. The Sheriff described the situation as “overwhelming” and said that this type of thing is happening with more frequency and with younger people as well.
“There was several that were juveniles they’re a younger generation,” said Villanueva.
He said most of the people seen in this video were from Honduras and that deputies were able to apprehend 25 of the 30. One of the drivers was also taken into custody and they’re searching for the other.
While it’s being reported that ICE is investigating the incident, it’s just about a guarantee that not much will be done about it. Obama has repeatedly shown his contempt for U.S. immigration policy while Holder has refused to uphold the current laws on the books.
As our nation is taken over by illegals they’re both standing by and allowing it to happen. At this point, how could anybody believe that they’re not doing it intentionally to usher in the next wave of Democrat voters?

Is Obama Allowing Illegals to Cross Our Southern Border an Encouragement of Domestic Attacks to Facilitate a Government Takeover?

The Common Constitutionalist 2 hours ago

By now, most of us on this side of the pen, or the display, or the microphone, have written or spoken of the Mexican-American border problem.

With thousands upon thousands of "children" crossing every week, it would seem that our southern border is wide open. Thanks to our president, the border patrol and other authorities are overwhelmed, leaving little if any manpower to patrol.

So, who else might be taking advantage of the Southern sieve? It certainly wouldn't be Islamic terrorists, would it?

Now, we commentators have also written and spoken extensively of the Cloward and Piven strategy – a strategy to purposely overwhelm the system to the point of collapse. We have postulated that this is exactly what Obama is doing at our southern border.

I believe this to be true. But I also contend that this strategy may have dire consequences beyond just the illegal immigrant flood.

Already these illegals are being shipped all over the country to take up residence at military bases – Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, California, and even Massachusetts. And these are the ones that we know about. No doubt the list of states will grow as more and more enter.

With the border wide open, anyone can cross. Now is the perfect time for terrorists to arrive and set up cells across the country.

WSB news in Atlanta claims that at least 300 Somali terrorists from the al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabaab are already here, but their location is unknown. However, it is a fact that they are here.

As an aside: if a terrorist or group of terrorists crosses the border, will they get hassled or threatened by the drug cartels or traffickers. I wonder how that works. Does an Islamic leader from overseas call a Mexican drug lord and alert him that Mohammed al-Mustafa al-Bakiri al-Mohammed is heading your way and to steer clear or assist his passage? Maybe the Imam from an Islamic mosque in this country puts the word out. Maybe the Muslim Brotherhood, like UPS, loves logistics.

The next logical question to ask is; does the Obama administration know that this must be happening – that with the flood of "innocent children" there will be Islamists, bent on our destruction?

But, you may ask, "They're only children, what could they do?"

The direct answer is nothing, but let's not be naïve and assume the adults are being turned away.

So is Obama stupid enough to think that only "innocents" are crossing, or does he just not care?
And now for a little conspiracy fun.

Is Obama purposely allowing terror cells to form in the United States? Could it be that the destruction of capitalism and reformation into a state-controlled society is just not happening fast enough? Are they encouraging domestic strikes as a better/quicker way to facilitate a government takeover?
Is the ultimate goal martial law, temporary government control of everything and everyone? Of course, it would be temporary just long enough for most citizens to get used to the "new normal," and then some form would become permanent.

Now look at where I've gone with this simple immigration rant. I've taken it from "dreamer" children to adults, to terrorists crossing the border, to them forming terror cells throughout the country, to domestic attacks, to temporary martial law, to permanent martial law.

Okay, I've completely lost my mind, and I'm partly kidding – partly – but just 10 years ago, would you believe we'd have a president who fancies himself a dictator – one who gets away with picking and choosing which laws to follow, or making up his own?

Would you believe that in America, what is currently happening at the border could actually occur?

As Obama continues to push the dictatorial envelope, maybe we should stop discounting anything as being beyond the pale.

    Problem, Solution, Immigration?

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is raising money off an influx of undocumented immigrants (AP Photo/Ross D. Franklin)

Arizona officials are threatening legal action to stop the Obama administration from moving hundreds of undocumented immigrants from Texas to their state after a surge of illegal border crossings swamped immigration officials in the Rio Grande Valley.
The U.S. Border Patrol has acknowledged flying hundreds of migrants from Texas to Tucson and Phoenix, where many have been dropped off at Greyhound bus stations. Last week, immigration agencies began sending hundreds of undocumented minors apprehended while crossing the border to a holding facility in Nogales.
Arizona officials say they were not notified before the transports began.
In a letter to the Department of Homeland Security, Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne (R) insisted the department’s border security units stop the transports.
“These aliens are not being transported for the purposes of detaining them in a federal facility located in Arizona. Rather, DHS is inexplicably moving them some 1200 miles and simply releasing them here (outdoors in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees) rather than in Texas,” Horne wrote [pdf].
Arizona state law prevents Horne from bringing suit against the federal government directly, but he could find someone else to sue.
Critics of the facilities where minors are held, ranging from Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) to the American Civil Liberties Union, have demanded access to assess conditions they say are substandard. McCain on Thursday called for Customs and Porter Patrol to allow media access to the Nogales Processing Center.

“There is only one way of knowing what the treatment is and that’s for the media to allowed access,” McCain said Thursday on an Arizona radio show. “We need you and any media outlet that wants to be there to be there. What kind of society are we in?”
In a letter to Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske, McCain and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) called the situation a “humanitarian crisis.” McCain and Flake also asked for a hearing before the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.
The influx of immigrants is heating up a years-old debate within Arizona political circles. Horne faces a strong Republican challenger after allegations he broke campaign finance law, and acting tough on immigration is a certain vote-getter in GOP primaries. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) is using the crisis to raise money for her federal political action committee.
The Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have reported a dramatic spike in the number of people caught crossing the border illegally. In January, just 28,000 people attempted to cross the border; that number spiked to 60,000 in May, according to McCain’s office.

This Issue: Images from Southwest Border reveal most are working-age men
Photos from Congressman Henry Cueller's (D-Texas) trip to the U.S.-Mexico border in South Texas provide some more details on exactly what's happening down there. Contrary to statements made by both the Obama Administration and pro-amnesty advocates, the border crisis is much more than women and children trying to escape violence and a bad economy in Central America.
Rep. Cueller's pictures depict dozens of working-aged illegal aliens filling up the Border Patrol offices in the Rio Grande Valley sector. Some are noting that the images are far different from some of the ones shown on network news.

    Courtesy Rep. Henry Cuellar
We've been saying for years that when the federal government neglects its obligation to enforce the law and tosses around the idea of granting amnesty to illegal aliens, it becomes an open invitation for the rest of the world to come to the U.S. illegally.
In 2006, we witnessed one of the largest illegal-alien border surges in our nation's history when Congress was considering the Kennedy-Bush-McCain amnesty bill that was eventually defeated. Then, Pres. George W. Bush sent 6,000 National Guard troops to help the Border Patrol stem the tide.
We came to you earlier this week asking for action on an amendment offered by Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) to the 2015 Defense spending bill that would have shifted funding from other defense agencies to the National Guard to help assist the Border Patrol. But the bill manager, Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-N.J.) used a procedural move to block it. Rep. Gohmert is still fighting to offer his amendment.
Meanwhile, several Members of Congress have spoken out against the situation on the border. We've posted faxes thanking those Members on your Action Board. We've also posted faxes for the four border states, urging the governors to call up the National Guard to assist the Border Patrol.

You can also check out some of the pictures from Rep. Cueller's visit to the border on our front page.Details from the border and the U.S. response are coming in fast and furious. In case you've missed it, here's a quick rundown of some of the top news items from the week:
    * Vice President Joe Biden is in Guatemala today to meet with government officials from that country, El Salvador, and Honduras. All three countries represent the bulk of the illegal aliens who have crossed the border in recent weeks. VP Biden is expected to reiterate U.S. policy that anyone who crosses the border will not be allowed to stay in the country. Of course, this contradicts the administration's actions over the past few weeks where they've transported illegal aliens to undisclosed locations across the country until they can locate family members.
    * Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a strong position on what to do with the new arrivals in an interview with CNN: "We have to send a clear message: Just because your child gets across the border, that doesn't mean the child gets to stay. So we don't want to send a message that is contrary to our laws, or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey."
    * Border Patrol Union Representative, Chris Cabrera, said gang members are among the illegal border crossers: "They are confirmed either by tattoos or by self admission. But since they have no criminal record in the United States, and they happen to be minors, they're reunited with their family in the U.S."
    * House Judiciary Committee Chairman, Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), said immigration reform is "increasingly unlikely" this year because of Pres. Obama's handling of the border crisis and is using his position as committee chairman to demand answers from DHS.

    BORDER SECURITY
    THEY SAY: Border security first
THEY WANT: Amnesty & more illegal immigration
We have come to understand that most people who emphasize the phrase "Border security first" are much more interested in what comes after "first" than in border security. They tend to be using border security as a selling point to get out of the way so they can more easily issue an amnesty to as many illegal aliens as possible.
It is important to teach our allies to never use the phrase "border security first" and to label those who continue to use the phrase as being the supporters of amnesty and illegal immigration that they surely are.
Goodlatte Presses DHS for Answers on Unaccompanied Alien Children Border Surge
House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., wrote Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson seeking data on the number of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) apprehended on the southern border over the past few years and the immigration benefits they were given. His committee will hold an oversight hearing on the matter next week.

A new Rasmussen poll finds only 31 percent favor increasing immigration and that may be because only 18 percent of Americans think legal immigration is running higher than 500,000 per year. The real rate is more than a million per year. 58 percent of respondents either supported lower immigration levels or maintaining current levels.

Most Illegal-Alien Children in Recent Surge Likely to Stay, Attorneys Say
Hundreds of illegal-alien children continue to cross certain sectors of the U.S. southern border each day, often with their mother. In an effort to stop them from coming, the Obama Administration is claiming they are subject to deportation but immigration attorneys say the vast majority of children may be given the legal right to stay under current immigration and asylum laws.

Rep. Cuellar's photos from U.S.-Mexico border Reveal More Details on Border Crisis

    Updated:

    Fri, Jun 20th 2014 @ 11:01 am EDT
New photos released by Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) from his recent visit to the Rio Grande Valley border patrol sector in Texas reveals more details on the ongoing surge of illegal border crossings. Contrary to statements from the Obama Administration, saying the surge is of mostly women and children trying to escape violence in Central America, the pictures show a pretty even mix of women, children, and working-aged men who have been detained by Border Patrol officers.
Rep. Cuellar's office interviewed some of the unaccompanied minors who are in the Border Patrol's detention facility, and while some cite violence as their reason for coming, many others also say they came to study and/or to be reunited with family living in the United States. Several media reports also indicate that a source of the influx of illegal border crossers is due to the Administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy and its unwillingness to enforce immigration laws.
Here are the pictures released by Rep. Cuellar and posted on BusinessInsider.com:

I brought the pictures over before but this is from the numberusa message board:

Yep, women and children! Riiight... Even NPR acknowledged that DACA is a motivation for this surge.
    Please consider:
    a) This surge is a response to Obummer's policies and promises.
    b) Mexico granted passage to these invaders.
    c) Gutierrez, Menendez and co are already clamoring for their immigration surrender bill, using these kids as a "reason".
    d) The timing, weak R "leadership", Obama's threat to use his pen.
    e) Reports that Central American media reporting no deportations and amnesty.
Given the above, does anyone else suspect that this whole thing was orchestrated by Obama and the open borders folks?

Aren’t we tired of nations that exploit U.S. immigration laws to their advantage, America has become a convenient dumping ground for all sorts of undesirables. It's time this country takes out the trash.
What better way for these nations, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador to dump their "problems" than in a country that doesn't police its own immigration law.
Congress must close the loophole that releases illegals, regardless of their criminal records. But equally important, nations that refuse to take back their own citizens -- or drag their feet doing so -- should be denied U.S. entrance visas and cut ALL aid sent to the country.
It's time to close the dump and pass Comprehensive ENFORCEMENT reform. Make entering this country illegally and being in this country illegally a felony with a very steep fine and jail time. Maybe this will work t stop the invasion get rid of the illegal aliens already in this country. It should save the American taxpayers BILLONS upon BILLIONS!

What is the logic that reform will reduce the problem?
That only with reform will Obama do enforcement?
That more will get in legally?
Of course, the failure of the administration to seriously try to control this problem suggests that the Administration's war on the American people will not cease with legislation.

Amnesty Would Not Work; CLOSE THE BORDER !
Amnesty would actually make the problem worse; you'd get even more Illegals.
    Instead:
    First, CLOSE THE BORDER.
    Second, NATIONWIDE MANDATORY e-VERIFY.
    Third, SECURE COMMUNITIES ACT.
CLOSE THE BORDER first to stop the Illegal influx.
NATIONWIDE MANDATORY e-VERIFY will remove the 'magnet' of money that draws Illegals. They will stop coming here, start going home, and the problem will shrink. Whenever/wherever we have done this, unemployment drops and Illegals leave.
SECURE COMMUNITIES ACT will speed up the deportations of the ones we've already captured committing other crimes, currently running at close to 1 million/year (!), making the size of the problem smaller.
We can deal with the rest later as we catch them.
An Inconvenient Truth: the fastest way to RAISE WAGES and REDUCE UNEMPLOYMENT is to CUT WAY BACK ON IMMIGRATION, ESPECIALLY ILLEGALS.
The economy and labor market will BOOM once these policies are fully in place. There are no jobs for Illegals. They are trying to take our US citizens' jobs away.
Australia, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, and UK already do this, and they are doing well.

Hundreds Of Angry Citizens Say NO To Obama’s Plan To Move Illegals To Their State

As we’ve seen, Obama’s recent amnesty talks have prompted an influx of illegal aliens hopping the border in hopes of being gifted citizenship. Furthermore, it seems that the border states are bursting at the seams so much that Obama has diverted military resources to transfer the excess of illegals to other, more comfortable, locations such as Massachusetts – and now, Virginia.

As it was recently announced in Lawrenceville, Virginia, Obama is planning on using the St. Paul’s College building as a temporary housing facility for over 500 illegal alien unaccompanied minors. Needless to say, the town is none too pleased and even resulted in over 1,000 residents banding together to voice their outrage over the issue at a recent town hall meeting.

As Lawrenceville resident Arron Smith put it, “The people here don’t want to ask you any questions. We really don’t want to hear your selling points. We don’t want to hear your politically correct terms. We talk slow around here. We got a little twang, but talk direct. Let me say this to you as I look square in your eyes. We do not want you here.”

The expected and seemingly mandated future influx of illegal children in the area is putting a strain on the community as a whole. Apparently concerned with the already high levels of drug use and illegal activity that their children are constantly exposed to, parents are worried how much more their kids will be subjected to if the illegal immigrants are brought in.

Furthermore, concerned constituents brought up the added, and unfair, inconveniences it will bring to the town. Suggesting that the town has nothing in it, and resources are about a 20 minute drive away, they wonder where the strategic planning was before deeming such a place an effective and efficient location to dump the illegal children.

What do you guys think though – does the government have the right to impose not only themselves, but foreign nationals on whichever town and society they see fit? Let us know what you think of the whole ordeal in the comments below.
