In the State of California, potential jurors are selected to serve through two different methods:

    1. California Drivers License
    2. Voting Registration

Got my jury duty over with in early March (at least for the next two years) and happy to tell you that the crowd was ALL American citizens there.

They told us that we might get another summons again before the two years, but to just call and clarify that you have served, as this summons comes out of a contracted office that sends the mailings out and they sometimes make mistakes in taking people off of their list. Alipacdude, you're state may be similar and her name was included without checking.

Jury Pools usually come from registered voters..
Not always. Maryland gets their jurors from driver's licenses and voter registration.
