Thread: Just called my congressman

I just got off the phone with Congressman Stephen Lynch's office. He represents the 9th district in Massachusetts. (phone) 617-428-2000

I'm not sure of his official position on Illegal immigration, although the lady I spoke to "Anne" Said he's in favor of comprehensive immigration reform. I'm guessing this means he's going to side with Kennedy and McCain.

I want to do something to get the word out to my neighborhood. Can someone please advise me on this? Do I paper the neighborhood with flyers? I'm feeling like they're just going to give these parasites a free ride in this country.

PS: I watched Lou Dobbs' show last night in Hazelton, PA called Broken Borders. You guys were right, he's amazing and unflinching about the situation, it's nice to have a voice like his on CNN.

OK, I have to call my local Radio Station. Jay Severin's show is on and I need to get this information out on the air.

We certainly understand your frustration, and the best "therapy" I can describe is to get engaged as much as your life will allow. Call your elected officials, and Congress members in DC. Talk to your friends, and send as many people here to ALIPAC as possible. You've seen that we do many focus campaigns, and you have a good team here who would absolutely LOVE to get on the phone and rattle kennedy's home state!

You are right when you hear the "comprehensive" buzzword. Anytime you hear that, it will mean amnesty.
The more Americans we get to stand up to counter this threat, the better we will do!

Well, good luck, Bren!! I'm sure you'll do very well! Since I'm learning too, can you tell me what a webcast is? Can I listen to it here then? Also, is the story posted anywhere on Alipac where I can read about it? Keep us posted as to how it goes!

I believe a webcast is internet radio and my interview will be broadcast live at 1pm est. Kate from alipac did a flyer for my brother and grandson see memorials for victims of illegals. You can see the news report on Tampabays10.com. Also, Faye, a frequent poster on this site has a blog on Illegalaliensrunningamok and I too have a blog , justice for Josh and Ron. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm still nervous though. My grandson's name is Joshua Angel Morrow. If you google his name, you can also find reports on the tragic accident. It happend in Tampa.FL

I found the article, Bren. I'm so, so sorry for your loss. When can we hear the webast? Nervous is ok; you just have to channel it into a "good" place...telling your family's story. You'll do fine.
