The crisis at the southern border is worsening by the day, as we heard on The Kelly File that almost half of Border Patrol agents are off patrols because they're need to do paperwork. There are not enough agents to handle the enormous influx of illegal immigrant children that have to be cared for at processing centers.

According to the report from CBS News Dallas, Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said almost 40 percent of the Border Patrol Agents there are being tasked with "transporting, feeding, moving these folks around.“
The same situation is being reported in Arizona, according to Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich of Town Hall.
"We have all of these juveniles so they're pulling agents out of the field to come in and babysit them basically," a source said. "They're cancelling some of our specialty details for our crews who go out and work the mountains, calling them back in and telling them they have to work the processing center because there are so many people in there."
Megyn Kelly was joined Thursday night by Border Patrol agent Shawn Moran, VP of the National Border Patrol Council. He argued that there needs to be consequences again or else the huge flow of illegal immigrants will only get worse.
"The word is out in Central America [that] this is your golden ticket to the United States. That immigration is not being enforced and rule of law is not existing," said Moran.
Moran explained that agents have been told they cannot have cell phones inside the holding centers after pictures were leaked of a shocking amount of children being housed.
"This is something that has been going on for over a year and is just getting worse. And the American public need to see what is going on. They need to see how how hard agents are working and how helpless they are to stop this," said Moran.
Watch the full interview above, and tune in to The Kelly File, tonight at 9p/12a ET to hear the State Department's response to the violence in Iraq.
