Thread: Kentucky Judiciary Committee meets on SB6

Well I just got back from the committee meeting at the Kentucky state capital, Or should I say Kentucky state Pander Parade!
What a joke, they had 4 experts to our one, and that one was the head of K-fire, he was doin' okay till he got off the subject which is jobs and the cost of IA's to the state, Then he started going on about the Bible and Peter and the sword and I'm thinking "Church and State!" the opposition had 4 experts
testify, a immigration lawyer, a Christian Priest, and 2 police officers! The lawyer went on about "mixed status families" and how an immigrants legal status could change from one day to the next and how that may lead to racial profiling and never once mentioned illegal status, I pulled my driver's license out and showed the Reps in front of me! I was sitting behind the lawyer facing the Reps. The Priest went on about how we're all brothers in God's eyes and how many immigrants come to the Catholic Church seeking help never once saying illegal immigrants, and finally the 2 officers they went on about needing more officers and jail space! The news interviewed the 1 expert for the Home team and he kept telling the reporter to interview me that I'm the reason this bill is even being brought to the floor and he swung the camera over to me, and I said "My son and I are Roofers and we want our jobs back, and that illegal aliens have taken our work here and everywhere!"

"If they are having similar meetings in your state, you should go to show your support!"

The public wasn't allowed to speak but after Senator Schickel the sponsor of SB6 was done with his statement I started clapping and got the whole room to join me until the committee chairman who also opposes the bill snapped at me! Out in the hallway once the meeting was adjourned is where I got to tell the Reps. to check they're e-mails, to which I've sent page after page from here the largest illegal immigration data bank in the world! I will post the video this evening after the news. Senator Jon Schickel told the reporters in the hallway it sometimes takes several years to get a law like this enacted if at all! And I piped in with "I don't have several years, that I need my job back now!" She recorded me!
I was so pissed! but I kept my head and believe that what I got to say in the hallway and clapping at the right moment, if nothing else pissed off the Democraps! I sure do miss being a dumbass roofer!
